Adam got home at ten in the evening, knocking at his sister's bedroom. "Elyse"

Elyse opened her bedroom quietly "Why?" she whispered

"Did you know that your best friend just dumped me? I've waited in the café until it closes" he said frustratedly

Elyse went out of her bedroom and closing the door "Oh you both just get dumped" she said in realization

Adam eyed sister curiously "What are you talking about?" stealing her sister phone in her hands "Open this" he ordered

"Kahit na imessage mo sya hindi sya sasagot" Elyse said and opened her bedroom's door "Because she's peacefully sleeping there" she pointed out at Aliyah who just slept after crying

Looking at the petite silhouette of the woman "Why is she there?"

"Because as I said you just get both dumped" ulit ni Elyse as she closes the door to let her best friend rest

"That bastard dumped her?"

"Saya mo?" tanong ni Elyse "Nadumped ka din naman"

"What are you saying, go to sleep" utos ni Adam and he walks to his bedroom

"What a headache," Elyse said and go inside her room.

Elyse woke up in her room, looking at the side of her bed but she didn't find any trace of Aliyah. Yawning, she walks outside her room and heads downstairs. Witnessing Aliyah and Adam arguing, "What is the meaning of this?" she approached them

"I was about to go home when he insists to let me have breakfast" Aliyah eyed her best friend as she crosses her arms, "I told him I don't want to, but he didn't let me go" she showed Adam's hand which is holding her wrist

Agad naman inalis ni Adam ang kamay nya sa kamay ni Aliyah "You should make her eat or she will starve herself" he said eyeing his sister and walk towards their dining room

"Why would I starve myself? I'll eat when I am hungry duh" Aliyah gazed at Adam's back

"That's the effect of being dumped" sabi ni Adam ng hindi lumilingon sa kanya

Elyse felt the glare of her best friend "Ah" she smiled at her apologetically "My mouth slipped, honest masyado"

Aliyah blink her eyes rapidly "Did you just share my heartbreak story? To the quarrelsome shit man?"

"Did you just insult my brother in front of me?" Elyse asked her "But I agree with you, so please let us eat breakfast or I have to quarrel with my brother just like you did" she clings her arms to hers and drags her to their dining room.

Seeing his sister was able to drag Aliyah in the dining table, Adam stood up and get the dishes that he just reheated because it's been a while since it was cooked.

"I told you kuya that I hate eggs being half-cooked" reklamo ni Elyse at tumayo na ito para kumuha ng cereal.

"Viana Elyse" Adam warned

"Alright" dabog ni Elyse at umupo na sa upuan nya "Favoritism talaga, minsan naiisip ko na lang na di ako ang tunay na kapatid eh" she mumbled

"You better eat up huh?" sabi ni Adam at isinubo na kay Elyse ang pagkain nito before he sits up properly.

Aliyah who is not in the mood just stuffed food in her mouth in a hurry, after she had finished the food on her plate, she immediately stood up and drinks water "I need to go home. Thanks for the breakfast"

Adam put down his fork and stood up "I'll get going too"

Elyse just rolled her eyes "Oh diba? Favoritism talaga eh" she mutters, standing up to get her cereal as a breakfast

Adam walks ahead of Aliyah "Let me drive you home" he said while he is passing by her

She was too tired and not in the mood for arguments, so she just followed. While getting in the car she didn't speak even once, she just looks outside and observes the scenery while they are on the road, not even glancing at Adam.

Peeking at Aliyah, "Why did you two broke-up?"

Still looking outside "I don't even know," she said shrugs

"Don't you want to know?"

She looked at his sides profile as Adam was driving, she sighed as she looks again outside "I was afraid that he will say that I was too good for him and he is at fault here" she paused "Those dumb reasons"

Adam chuckled "Don't worry he will not use that"

She eyes him angrily "Anong pinaparating mo Mr. Diaz?"

"It was great to see your face have expressions again," he said softly, glancing at her "I was kidding"

Aliyah just lean her body on the seat and watch the scenery outside "Why can't I see that coming we are still good the other day, maybe he was just exhausted or did he find someone better? Of course, some so many people are better than me, he can easily replace me" she said softly

"So, I guess there still many people who are better at being a bitch, moody, forgetful and spoiled brat," Adam said indifferently

"You know I'm in a bad mood today but I'm in the mood for killing an inconsiderate jerk human after all. Tumigil ka na kung di ka marunong magcomfort hinayupak ka."

Adam just grins at her and continue driving.

"If you are that curious you should ask him why" Sabi ni Adam bago sya makababa ng sasakyan nito, she looked at him "Kaysa mag-isip ka nang kung ano-ano, questioning yourself why you're still not enough and where did it go wrong" dugtong nito

She gave him a small smile "When I'm ready" she rummages in her bag "I forgot to give this yesterday" she handed him the black luxurious box

Seeing the gift he's been asking months ago, Adam shook his head "You could give this to me when you are happy, truly happy" sauli niya ng box kay Aliyah "Sinong nagbibigay ng regalo na hindi masaya?"

Aliyah crinkled her nose "Hihingin mo tapos pag andyan na ayaw mo na" she snorted "Are you high? Ang labo mo ha" she said at bumaba na ng sasakyan.

"I don't want to take things if they are not happy when they come to me" he mutters before start driving

"Gio!" tawag sa kanya ng teammate nya "May naghihintay daw sayo sa may parking"

He looked at his coach asking for permission after his coach nod at him he leaves the court.

"Anong ginagawa mo dito?" tanong niya sa lalaking nakasandal sa kotse

"I was waiting for Aliyah" he answers as he put his phone in his pocket

He chuckled "So you're in the move now. Nag-iintay ka lang talagang gago ka"

Adam looked at Gio "I'm always in the move, you let her go" he shrugs "You dumped her" he added

He eyed him angrily as he leans on the car opposites Adam "As if I liked to let a great woman like her go"

"But you did" he stated the fact

"I was forced I don't want her to be labeled as the girlfriend of the murderer's son" he sighed

"That's it? Don't you know that Aliyah does not care about rumors?" sabi ni Adam "You decided it by yourself and didn't ask for her opinion. Do you think that you are considerate?" he said and grasp his shirt "You're an inconsiderate as fuck" suntok niya dito "Now, Aliyah was asking herself if she's not enough, because of you, jerk. All of the people around her make sure she felt more than enough but because of you, she's now not confident about herself anymore"

Sitting on the ground because of the impact of Adam's punch "My father's target was her father, but Aliyah's father's best friend took the shot instead of her father!" amin nito
