Adam stood up "How long are you up?" as he walked to her direction

"Thirty minutes ago? The moment you started to be frustrated at the same time amazed by the technology" she answered as she continues to walk to the kitchen

"Are you feeling okay now?" he asked as he walks to get her a water

Aliyah just nod at him "Why are you still here?"

"This is my house why should I go?" he asked as he placed a glass of water in front of her

Aliyah furrowed her eyebrows "This is my home" she corrected

"So, it's our home" he shrugs "I was the one who brought, Elyse brought this house with my money" he cleared

"What?!" she exclaimed as she stood up in shock and make her knee bumped into the chair "Puta aray" she whimpered as she holds her knee.

Adam instantly goes to her side and sees her red knee "Wait" he stood up as he walked to the refrigerator and gets a block of ice.

"Here" Adam offered the ice in his hands, he was about to withdraw it and put it in the table when Aliyah grab the ice in his hand, her hands slightly touched his. He looked at Aliyah, but she did not tremble and have a complicated look in her face, she is just grimacing in pain.

"Tangina naman oh may isasama pa ba ang araw na ito" Aliyah mutters as she put the ice in her knee.

Trying her best to stand up she looks at Adam who is just staring at her "What are you staring at?" she asked while raising her brows.

Adam snaps out of his thought "Nothing" he shakes his head as his phone rang, looking at the unknown caller he furrows his brows.

Aliyah looked at him in disbelief "Did you just forget that you have a hard time ordering food a while ago?"

"So?"

She massages her temples as she looks at him "Malamang yan na yung deliver!"

Adam shrugs "Christian didn't tell me that they will call me," he said in defense as he slides the call button.

Aliyah peeks at Adam who's going at the door to pick up his ordered food as she sat again in the kitchen.

"You should eat first before you take your medicines," he said as he put the delivered food in the table, taking them out one by one.

Aliyah just look at him, narrowing her eyes "Did you just order this because you don't want to cook for me?"

Adam's action halted for a second as he nods "Too troublesome" he simply said as he opens the lid of the food sliding the food near her "Eat" he ordered

Seeing the dishes in front of her Aliyah felt hungry, her stomach was empty since last night and now the sun is shining brightly outside, screaming that it was already at noon. Picking the utensils, she started to dig up the food, "Thanks" she mumbles not paying attention to Adam.

"Slowdown" Adam reminded her as he stood up "I'll get your medicine" sabi nito at dumiretso na sa kwarto ni Aliyah.

Adam just got out of her room when he saw Aliyah coughing "What happened?" he hurriedly asked

"Tubig!" she said between her coughs.

"Sabi sayong wag magmadali eh" he scolded her as he runs to get a glass of water "Here" he was about to put it in front of her when she immediately grabs the glass in his hands.

"Tangina talaga, muntik na akong mamatay" she said exaggeratedly sliding her food aside "I don't like to eat anymore, I'll drink this now ha?" she said to Adam as she showed the medicine he tossed a while ago when he runs to get her a water.

Adam just nod at her, clearing his throat "You should rest now"

"You should rest too," she said as she stood up "On your own home, not mine" diin nito kay Adam at tiningnan ito ng mariin "By the way thanks" she smiles as she goes to her room.

"Bahay ko ito Aliyah you can't kick me out"

"This was mine and Elyse', not yours" she narrowed her eyes "Better leave now" she pointed out the door

"No," he said with finality in his voice

"Adam! You can't stay here when I'm here!" she hissed "A woman and man in a house?" she said in disbelief "Leave now"

Adam smirked "It was not my problem anymore" he murmurs when he passed by her side going to the bedroom between Aliyah's and Elyse's room, he turned around, "Take a rest or I will make you rest?" he threatened.

"Gago!" Aliyah said as she closed the door of her room tightly shut.

Adam was now in the living room holding remote-control switching channels while peeking at Aliyah's door and looking at his phone. Hearing the doorbell rang he instantly stood up and walked to the door, having a slight smile on his face.

"Mr. Diaz?" the delivery man asked when the door opened

Adam just nods at him as he gets the food in the hands of the delivery man "Here" he gave him a thousand bill "I don't need change" he continues as he closes the door not waiting for the delivery man's response.

Placing the food, he orders for the fifth time he places it in the table, glancing at Aliyah's door being shut, he sighed "I guess I'll just order again later"

He glimpses at her bedroom for the nth time as he switches back and forth the channels in the television, his eyes widen a bit when the door opened focusing his gaze in the television that broadcasting an animal show.

Aliyah who is still sleeping look at the busy man in front of the television, "Are you fond of animals?" she eyed him

Adam looks at her "There's food in the table" he stated ignoring her question and gestures the food he ordered a few minutes ago.

Feeling hungry she immediately walked to the kitchen "What the fuck?" Aliyah exclaimed as she looks at the table full of containers of food, "Gaano ba kadami ang inorder mo? Magpapakain ka ba ng isang angkan dito?" she eyed Adam

Adam stares at her innocently "I just ordered three"

"Three?!" she exclaimed "Ano yon nagproduce to mag isa? Five times?"

"I ordered three but I ordered five times in different time," he said as he walked towards her "This was the new one" he placed it in front of her, pero tinignan nya muna kung mainit ito "Good thing that it was still hot or else I need to order again" he commented

"What the hell?" she creases her brows "Did you order another one pag di na mainit?"

Adam just nod at her, "Eat now it is pretty late"

Still looking at him, she narrowed her eyes "Don't you know to microwave this?"

"No. Eat now you can judge me later," he said and goes to the other side of the kitchen to get her a glass of water.

Aliyah just laughed at him "Nasaang era ka ba? Hello, we are in the twentieth century why don't you know how to use the technologies around you?"

"I don't need to," he said as he put the water in front of her and eyed her, "Do you want me to feed you or you will eat by yourself?"

Aliyah rolled her eyes as she shoves the spoon in her mouth "Ano ako baby?"

Adam eyed her "Baby?"

She nods, "Yes, baby." She cleared as she munches the food in her mouth

"Ah. Baby" he smiles

Muntik na maibuga ni Aliyah ang pagkain sa bibig nya ng marinig niya ang sinabi ni Adam "What the hell are you talking about?!" she eyed him furiously "Would you like this spoon to be shoved down to your throat?"

"What? You are getting violent." inosenteng tanong ni Adam na papunta na sa sofa sa living room

"Wala" she shakes her head and smiled at him "Mamatay ka na sanang hinayupak ka" she said and goes back to her food.

"Is that the way how you thank me for the food?" Adam chuckles "You're welcome"
