HUNTERS GUILD ( 2 )

Bella became shocked that a newbie, that was not affiliated with any family or a private guild has a Red Dragon embedded Elite Batch. There was pretty much no information about Robin, but then she became even more shocked as new data updated on Robin at the Information Guild forum linked to Hunters Guild,

'This guy and the Silver Family genius have the same master. He visited Black Cloud City to meet his fellow apprentice.'

Then she again looked up at Robin who is still staring at her with a darkened face,

'Information is too vague, who is he?'

Then she upgraded Robin's Hunters badge to Silver Rank Badge, upon which the before Bronze color changed to metallic silver. As she returned his badge,

Bella said with a smile,

"It has been a long time since I saw someone jump from Bronze Rank to Silver Rank directly, that to a person who didn't even accept a single mission, is never heard of."

On hearing Bella praise him, Robin got his energy back from losing the 6000 GC and smiled as he accepted his badge. Then with a proud smile on his face, Robin said,

"You will see a lot of miracles hereafter."

Finishing his statement, Robin turned around and started to walk toward the Bounty Board to get a new quest.

'I still have a chance with her. Just now I would have looked heroic.'

Yes, Robin was really right, Bella thought he looked heroic. But, not only Bella thought so, everyone near the counter that watched the commotion transpired between Robin and Bella saw that and some people started to have a sour taste on their mouths.

'How could this newbie show off before our Hunter Angel Bella...'

One such unhappy person shouted toward Robin who is now walking toward the Bounty Board.

"Hey, you kid"

However, Robin didn't respond to that person's calling.

'I think a perfect plot is opening up for me'

As Robin walked without halting his steps two guys, one fat guy one skinny guy blocked his path. Robin broke his steps and looked at them.

'Perfect lackeys made by heavens, once the battle starts, I will mop them on the floor, and raise my favorability with Bella.'

The skinny guy made a wicked smile and said,

"Hey kid didn't you hear our Boss calling you"

'I can't wait to punch his face, my hands are itching'

Robin looked at him with excitement and said,

"My name is not hey or kid, it's Robin. So I don't need to stop for your Boss that doesn't know basic etiquette."

As Robin said that, a clean shaved middle-aged man with a shining knight armor carrying a shield and lance on his back walked to Robin and stood in the center of those two guys. He broke into a grin,

"I'm Bron the Knight, I was the one who called you. I'm a famous Silver Rank Bounty Hunter around here."

Looking at this shield guy Bron, Robin said,

"Hi, I'm Robin and why did you call me?"

Hearing Robin's question Bron chuckled,

"Hehe... Don't be rude kid, I just want to talk to you and teach you what manners is"

Robin's face twitched,

'Who are you calling kid, im older than you'

"I said, I'm Robin, don't call me kid, Uncle. and I don't want you to teach me, anything Uncle. Even though you are old, I can tell you are weaker than me, Uncle."

Hearing that Robin calls Bron 'uncle' everyone nearby starts to laugh, as for Bron himself, he was stunned speechless.

'Uncle uncle uncle... Those words kept on repeating on his head.'

Not waiting for them to respond, Robin bypassed the three bunch and walked to the Bounty Board. Seeing that Bron snapped out of his dilemma and shouted toward Robin,

"Kid, your words could sometimes kill you"

Saying that he strode out with his crew.

Robin looking at Bron's disappearing back thought to himself,

'Shouldn't he chase me and make a big scene here, why is he leaving? Where is the fight plot'

'I should have triggered him more, like saying him as cuckold or badly like that.'

Letting out a chuckle, Robin stood before a Bounty Board that is less crowded and swiped his Hunters Badge on a scanner down at the board. Upon his action, an interface appeared before him, showing the available quests for him and his details.

Even though the panel shows him the details of the quest in this big Bounty Board others can't see what he is seeing unless he shared it with them.

Robin was shocked seeing the 50+ missions available for him,

'Jasper, what is this? Why are there so many quests available?'

Jasper replied to the confused Robin,

'Boss, you are now Silver Rank, so there are more quests available than Bronze Rank.'

'With great power comes great opportunities'

Then again he asked,

'So that means I will get more quests if I upgrade my badge to Silver Rank in Assassin Guild.'

Jasper replied after making a calculation,

'I don't think so, Assassin guild is different from Hunters Guild, here all types of the quest is available. Because Hunters Guild accepts all types of quests. You can form a party with a large number of people for quests. However, the Assassin guild primarily focuses on secret missions, kill missions, and requires less number of people for the perfect completion of the mission. So they have lesser tasks. However, it is required absolute power to do those missions as per the rewards.'

Hearing that Robin said,

'It feels like I understand but not. What you are saying is that Hunter Guild quest givers are from everywhere and anyone can do it. But Assassin Guild's quest givers are demanding and only people with power can do it.'

Listening to Robins words, Jasper nodded,

'Yep, pretty much like that.'

NORMAL MISSION

[MISSION: An young poison master is in need of a poison sack from the Twin-headed Poisonous Snake in the border region of Black Cloud Forest. So hunt a Twin-headed Poisonous Snake and bring the poison sack. ((Image))

REWARD: 20000 GC for Apprentice Realm Snake

After seeing the picture of the Twin headed Snake, Robin thought,

'Where is this Snake, it's almost like an Anaconda, it's 15 feet long.'

Then he swiped onto next mission,

[MISSION: A rare fruit is found in the Black Cloud Forest on a secret location, that is guarded by an Apprentice Level Black Bear. The location and Fruit details will be revealed by the quest givers on the acceptance of the mission.

NOTE: If the Hunter leaks the information of mission after accepting the terms of the quest givers, they will be severely punished. This is requested by the quest giver.

REWARD: 30000 GC.]

[MISSION: An young alchemist is in need of a Black Ging herb from the xxx, xxx location. It is rumored to be guarded by a Blue Stripe Panther that is at the Apprentice level.

'Pretty much all missions require a party to finish. Solo is a bad idea boss.'

Robin nodded his head,

'Looks like it, let's take it slow.'

Upon deciding that Robin didn't accept any quest, he left the Hunters Guild. But as he came out of Hunters Guild, he saw an acquaintance,

'What is he doing with those guys?'
