Entering the other world was one of the most difficult decisions he had to face. Now that he has arrived he needs to figure out what he should do next. Whom should he trust?

"Do I have to do this every single time? Is there really no other way?" I mean I do not in anyway want to cut my hand every single time I have to make a map my own. Could be a bit of a hassle if you think about it, is it not?

"You can just cut a small one on your finger you know. Doesn't have to be the palm" he said, "besides there is healing magic to go with it"

"Healing? There is healing magic for this?" It would be quite troublesome to learn a spell just to get a map.

"No no! Haha!" He laughed, "you are a funny one, just like your old man. Well there are magic in this world obviously or 'powers'" he air quotes the word, "the people have different words for them but yes. There is indeed a healing spell. In fact, why don't I give you a tip or show a slight way of doing it."

He takes his hands off the table and chants something softly, "Hilve" and his hands starts glowing for a while and stops.
