CH. 15: Exploring The Mid-Level Floors

Akao then woke up around two hours later. Ramla was sitting by the door of the room. She said "Are you up now." Akao said "Yeah." Akao then got up and prepared to continue moving forward. Akao asked "What was that spell you used during the Fire Giant fight." She replied "The spell is an ice type it freezes the enemy from its heart to it entire body." Akao then opened the door and said "Well ethier way let's continue."

They then headed out the door and started exploring the first mid-level floor. Around ten feet from the door they ran into some horned wolf's. There were about fifty of them that surrounded them. Akao then used Fire Ball and burned seven of them. Akao then rushed the ones in front of him and cut their legs. Akao then finished them off by cutting off their head. Akao then used Air Blast to cut six of the ones to his left. Akao then grabbed Ramla's wrist and ran from the other one's. Ramla said "What are you doing." Akao said "Fighting them is just going to take up more time, I want to finish this quest as quickly as possible." After gaining some distance Akao used Water Wall to stop them from following them.

Once they were at a safe area they stopped and rested. Ramla said "I forgot to ask how are you able to cast spells without saying them." Akao replied "I still say them I just say them in my head." She said "How does it work for you but not me then." Akao said "Have you tried it." She replied "No, but that is because the last person to try couldn't do it so everyone gave up on trying." Akao said "Maybe it just depends on the person and whether they are willing to practice or not." She then said "Are you saying that the people who tried didn't practice." Akao said "No, it's just maybe they didn't practice enough."

Ramla replied "I suppose that is a possibility." I said "Well if that's all then I say we should continue." They then continued walking through until we reached a start of a hallway. A few feet away from the start of the hallway were stairs leading down. while we were walking down the stairs Akao was then hit with a freezing cold breeze. Akao then thought to himself "Wind all the way down here?" Once Akao could see the bottom of the stairs he saw snow and ice.

A small Ice Wyvern was sleeping in the middle of the room on the next floor. Akao whispered to Ramla "Maybe we can sneak around it if we are quiet be careful." They then began to sneak around the Ice Wyvern. Akao said "I see the door we are almost there." Akao then heard a piece of ice crack behind him. Akao turned around and Ramla had a frightened look on her face. Akao asked "What is it." She said "L-look." The Ice Wyvern had woke up and was looking at Akao watching his every step.
