Vaslavis Clan: The Past (13)

Rather than removing the snake right away, Hanom just looked at it amusingly.

"Oh, it's good to have guts to attack me." He then began clapping his hands, "Very well, I'll reward you for this."

Hanom bent down and carefully took the snake's jaws off of his legs. The little snake tried to struggle out of his grip, but the man was too much for it to handle.

"You're that little girl earlier, right? You're still alive? That's so great of you."

Despite the fact that his words were to praise, Hanom's tone was very indicative that he was mocking the snake. His gaze then fell on Fraley who was now hugging Yarkel's head. The woman was glaring at him with all the hatred she could muster, much to his delight.

"Do you want to listen to a story?" Hanom asked the woman as he started walking towards her.
