Romanoff Dukedom: Repentance (7)

"She punched my stomach. She ripped my arms. She grabbed my head and slammed it on the ground. She threw me around like a ball. She threw me around like a piece of trash. She didn't stop until I was bleeding. She didn't stop until I was at death's door."

Zarya couldn't stop whispering her woes out. If she stopped, she would be in pain deeper than what she had suffered from the hands of Lavern.

"Her eyes, her mouth, they wanted to swallow my being. They wanted to swallow me whole. They don't want to let me go. They want me to be in pain. She didn't stop hurting me. She grabbed my neck. She tightened her hands around my neck. She strangled me. I can't breathe. My heart feels like it's exploding. My lungs too."

As she was saying those words, Zarya clutched her chest. She began rocking back and forth. The coldness of the cement vanished in the fervor of her grief.
