"Ius, didn't I tell you to put your strength on your legs? What will happen if someone hits you in the knee all of a sudden?"

"I apologize. I've forgotten." Ius said as he raised his sword again.

Be that as it may, Erwin didn't do the same. His sword remained lowered as he looked at Ius with curiosity.

"Tell me, Ius, what have you been doing the night before? You seem to be lacking sleep."

Erwin raised his hand, shaking his head as he replied, "Stop apologizing to me. I want to know the reason.

At first, the child didn't want to tell the truth. He knew that Erwin would get mad at him if he did. Still and all, lying to Erwin wouldn't fare well. He would be receiving a harsher punishment than just saying what really happened.
