Taming the Hybrid

The silence inside the office of the Elders was gut-wrenching. Well, not for the Duke.

Duke Vartos Romanoff was fine letting that silence thrive in their hearts. He didn't have any concern left for the Elders who were using him all this time.

Yes, he was only learning that now.

And it was not pleasurable for the Duke to come to that realization.

He had revered the Elders for the service they had done for the clan. It was a story that was already told, but he did have the ambition to become like them.
