Romanoff Dukedom: Plan (20)

"Ius, in the meeting today, observers will be present." Duke Romanoff said as he was arranging the papers on his desk.

Despite the fact that he didn't like the arrangement, Ius didn't say a word. Furthermore, having a conversation with his father exhausted him more than anything else.

The Duke didn't hear a word he said.

The Duke would ignore his pleas for help.

There was nothing for him to say to a man who refused to listen.

"The meeting will be conducted in the meeting hall. It's so the observers can seat around the podium. Make sure that you behave. Do not say anything that will offend the Elders. They're giving you courtesy since you're a candidate."

Ius wanted to scoff at what his father had said. However, he refrained from doing so. There's just no merit in offending his father any further.
