Taming the Hybrid

Rather than leave the hall right away, the members of the Valk League had a silent agreement.

They all returned to their seats.

Meanwhile, the observers gave each other a wary look. They tried to contemplate whether the Duchess' interference was something that they should address.

There was no particular rule dictating Ius' presence in the meeting. The Observers were just told to watch what he would be saying and stop him when the situation warranted it.

There was also no rule regarding forbidding the Duchess from entering the hall. Hence, the observers were a bit perplexed when the Duchess appeared all of a sudden.

Now that the Duchess had left, they gathered in a circle and talked about what they should do.

On the other hand, the members of the Valk League were silent. Perhaps, they were doing their own thinking. Perhaps, they were not.
