Taming the Hybrid

Aaviren looked around, sighing in relief as he saw no one in their path.

If there was anyone to confront them, the risk of the four of them getting discovered would increase. Although they were prepared to face the consequences, lessening the burden of sins they would carry was imperative.

Rather than just outright revealing themselves as the offenders, wouldn't it be better if they could accomplish their goal without paying the price?

Turning around, Aaviren gave a nod to his fellow comrades. Thereafter, he rounded the corner.

As soon as he did so, he heard several footsteps coming his way. Aaviren hurriedly retraced his steps and gave the three men the signal to stop. He then placed his back flat on the wall and peeked through the side to see who was coming.
