She left the isolated cell and headed back to the base. It was not necessary to follow the man to Keres' place. She had already informed Keres what she wanted to know and she was certain he'd get the information she needed.
Humming to herself she arrived at the base and headed to the Ops department. She had to assign more agents to watch Andre's operation in Europe. They had made some noise infiltrating Casa and it was better to be safe than sorry. So far she managed to keep the organization hidden but it wouldn't do them any good to let their guard down.
"Assign ST6 to shadow Gerald's team. Have they checked in?" She asked the operations handler.
"No ma'am. They landed 36hrs ago. Check-in is not for a couple hours."
"Let me know as soon as they do. I have a feeling there will be a couple of surprises waiting for them." She instructed before moving on to the next handler. There were many cases they were handling at the moment, their clients expected perfection and that was only achievable by being thorough. There were team leaders who could handle these tasks but she liked doing them herself. It gave her a sense of purpose but more than anything it kept her busy.
"Boss, we have a problem." A deep masculine voice said from behind her.
Her eyes immediately narrowed after hearing the word problem. Turning her head to look at the man from the corner of her eye she gave a slight nod indicating he should continue his report.
"Eric Walhberg called, he is asking we hand over Natasha in 36 hours." The man's name was Jon, he was dressed in black clothes with heavy-duty boots. He was tall and lean and had a scar shaped like an X on his neck.
Jon started feeling slightly nervous because Mr. Walhberg had been bothersome lately and the Boss was at her wit's end with him. He was annoyed with the man and his endless pestering. His boss's patience wasn't thin, but it was definitely all used up by now. Blood would soon follow if he didn't let up.
"And?" Her cold voice sent chills down her subordinates back.
"If we don't hand her over he'll let Red Viper know who we are." At this point, the poor man was sweating so much his shirt was sticking to his torso.
The room became silent as all the handlers paused their movements after hearing the threat. They all held their breaths and dared not move in fear of adding more fuel to the fire.
A cold laugh came out of their Boss's lips. A terrifyingly hollow and cold laugh.
Anai'ya turned on her heels to face the man behind her. Ripples of ruthlessness surged in her eyes and a devilish smile danced on her lips. Right now she looked like a demon straight from hell. Jon subconsciously clenched his hands, the sheer pressure of her stare was making him feel afraid.
His boss was truly the most terrifying person he had ever met and he had just delivered very unpleasant news. He wanted to quickly take his leave before he crumbled like a piece of paper right in front of her. He was a grown man and was not afraid to admit this small frail looking woman scared him down to the bone.
"Is there anything else he said?" She asked staring straight into the man's eyes. Her eyes looked a couple shades darker than usual.
"No. He just said that if we know what's best for us we'll comply with his request." He said.
"Invite Mr. Walhberg to the base." She ordered turning back around.
Jon cracked a small smile. He knew that this wasn't going to be a pleasant experience for the man. He snickered to himself before leaving. He would see how arrogant Mr. Walhberg was after coming here.
The handlers resumed their work each snickering amongst themselves. Only an idiot would dare threaten their boss. Whatever happened to him would be well deserved.

After spending some time in Ops she headed to her office and called for Brie. After a few minutes, Brie arrived looking weary and tired. Her black skin tight suit defined her womanly curves making one spend more time looking at her.
"You called for me?" Brie asked sitting on the leather sofa in the corner.
"I need you to head to London and back up Gerald's team with ST6. I'm putting you in charge." Anai'ya said lighting up a cigarette.
"Copy that. Did they run into trouble?" Brie asked rubbing her temples. She had been working non-stop over the weekend, her head was starting to hurt.
"Not yet but there has been considerable movement of personnel. They are fortifying their defenses. I would rather force that gap in security wide open then let them have a chance at retaliation." She said as clouds of smoke started forming inside the room.
"How long do you predict we'll be there? Do you want to continue watching them or are we taking action?" Brie asked. She wondered how long it would be before she gave the order to attack head-on.
"Observe for now. I want to see what he'll do. We delivered a heavy blow with Casa. He knows we have Kastle's specs so he's on high alert right now. Also, be careful he has MI6 and CIA agents on payroll we confirmed two today. There's bound to be more." Anai'ya warned.
"Tsk tsk. MI6. What a bother those English assholes can't do a damn thing to us but I'll be careful either way. I'll be gone for some time right?" Brie asked furrowing her beautiful eyebrows.
"Yes. I'll have Stan and Emmy swap you out after one month. They are still in Japan dealing with the Hosaka clan." Anai'ya said finishing her cigarette. She stood up to serve some whiskey.
"Alright sounds good. When do I leave?" Brie said accepting the drink. It smelled like oak trees and cinnamon.
"Two weeks," Anai'ya replied raising a glass for a toast.
"Okay got it. Hey, I heard you sent that demon to see Keres?" Brie asked raising an eyebrow.
"Mmm."
"Why? What did he do this time?"
"He lied."
"..." Brie chuckled. It was true that Anai'ya was a patient woman who knew how to bide her time but one thing she would not tolerate was lying. That man was in dire straits this time.
