Possessiveness

Just as Liu Wei exits the doors of the building she notices a black tinted Maserati waiting outside. The driver doors open and out comes Su Kai looking all drool worthy. He had on an expensive black suit with a khaki trench coat. He slowly looks up and gives her a small smile.

"Hello CEO Su, it was kind of you to pick me up" she professionally tells him even though her ears were probably steaming from how hot it had gotten outside due to this gorgeous man chiseled in absolute perfection.

"My pleasure…" he says as he guides her to the front passenger side.

As they were driving towards the restaurant Su Kai casually grabs a hold of Liu Wei's hand and brings it up to his lips. He places a light kiss on the back of her hand and continues to drive with their hands intertwined.

"Aren't you the sweet one… let me, top that" Liu Wei says as she reaches over and plants a small kiss on the corner of his lips.

Su Kai could only chuckle and smile at her shaking his head helplessly. "Must you always think of everything as competition?"

"Yes, it's more exciting that way." She cheekily tells him.

"By the way, did you review my finalized proposal for the product launch collab. What are your thoughts and is there anything that needs to be revised?"

"I looked it over and I approve, it was quite detailed and a thorough proposal. Both parties will definitely benefit and I believe that your product will be well received in the market place. I signed the documents and everything should be finalized" Su Kai appreciated the work that Liu Wei put in during this collaboration. He could tell how smart she was and how this project would bring on millions in revenue.

"Thank You CEO Su, hearing compliments from such a big business tycoon means a lot." She was a bit surprised by his praise but was happy nonetheless. It's always great to be recognized for your efforts.

Sushi Ryu was a beautiful and elegant restaurant designed in a modern way. The food was very scrumptious as well and most of the rich heirs and heiresses could always be seen here. This is probably one of the reasons why Su Kai took Liu Wei here for lunch.

They were in a private room upstairs but they had to walk into the main dining area to reach the private rooms. As they were walking by, a man around the same age as Su Kai came up to them. He was dressed in an expensive suit and had the same aura as Su Kai. You could tell that he came from money.

"Hi old man, are you here on business or pleasure?" He says as he looks at Liu Wei up and down.

"Hi Alex, I didn't know you were back in town." Su Kai was reserved but you could tell that they had an easy camaraderie between them.

"Yes, I got in last night. Who is this charming lady?"

"Ms. Liu Wei from the Liu Corporation, we are currently collaborating on a business venture."

"I appreciate smart and sexy women. Once you are done with this old man feel free to come and see me" he tells Liu Wei.

Liu Wei found him funny and was about to make a smart come back when Su Kai beat her to it.

"She is mine…" possessiveness suddenly could be seen emanating off him.

Alex hesitated for a split second before he responded "En… would you like to join us for lunch?" as he pointed towards his private room and disregarding the weird way Su Kai acted just moments before.

"No, come over at my place later for a drink" Su Kai started moving towards their private room leaving Alex without a backward glance.

As they sat down Liu Wei started laughing. "What was that? And who was that?"

"My best friend"

"…."

Best friend? If that's how he treats his best friend, she would love to see how he treated his enemies.

"You look beautiful today, I meant to tell you that earlier…"

"Thank you, you're pretty hot yourself"

He places food on her plate and as Liu Wei complimented him he pauses his actions and slowly continues again. She is definitely not shy with her words he thought. Very different from other women who were more reserved or annoyingly clingy.

But he was speaking the truth, she looks so good in her red suit you could tell that she commanded respect and awe in her bearings. She was perfect for him, smart and witty as well as gorgeous. The perfect woman and especially a woman he couldn't get out of his head. It was only yesterday that they saw each other and he couldn't wait to see her again.

They were having a good time bantering back and forth and making googly eyes at each other when the door to their private room opened. Three people piled into the room and one of them was Alex.

"Sorry Kai, they heard you were here so they came over before I could tell them that you were in a business meeting" Alex says with a smirk on his face totally not repentant at all. It seemed more like he instigated the group into bothering Su Kai.

A lotus looking woman came over and sat demurely next to Su Kai. "Kai, why have you been avoiding me? If we weren't celebrating Alex's return I would have never gotten the chance to bump into you."

"I'm working at the moment, I would appreciate it if you all could leave." He says with a straight face.

She looks directly at Liu Wei and says "I apologize for barging in, but we are his friends and wanted to greet him. Would it be alright if we impose on your lunch meeting?"

"I believe our business has been concluded therefore feel free to join us for lunch.. I don't mind at all" Liu Wei says as she was curious about Su Kai's friends. This man was a mystery perhaps she could garner some juicy tidbits from these people.
