There were a lot of adventures in the Guild Association which made sense because of the size and the reason for the building. They were talking to people at desks, there were rows and rows of desks.
There are also mana powered elevators here and there to get to higher up in the building. Jacob went over to a receptionist and Eternal trotted behind. "How much for 8 spider legs, "^ Jacob said. He was talking to a lady at the desk, " That's 20 US dollars, sir."^ He gave her the monster parts and she gave him the money.
" Well, some money is better than nothing."^ Jacob sighed. Since Eternal ate all the dead bodies of the monsters they caught beside the spider they fought with. If Eternal didn't eat as much. The price would have gone up a triple, that price isn't that good for living expenses but better then what he got.
As they were about to head out and Jacob bumped arms with someone. He looked at who it was and saw a man who had a black sweatshirt and sweatpants. He looked like he was looking for someone his face was covered by the black hood. Jacob was staring wide-eyed and said to Eternal " Let's go."
When they got back to the apartment, Jacob started to semi teach Eternal. A few hours later they were asleep. The next morning, Eternal ate steak for breakfast and Jacob ate cereal.
They went to the dungeon and did there routine, of killing rats and lizards and a one Zhacar. This time Eternal only ate one rat and didn't eat anything else after a long day of hunting, Eternal leveled up when fighting a rat |Level up| Jacob also leveled up.
This time they got 85 US dollars, the walk back home was a quiet one. When they got home the did the same learning routine, "Hey Eternal you mind if we take a break from going into the dungeon for a week or so." Eternal was fine with that, but he was still curious why since Jacob needed the money " Sure, but why, " Jacob smiled and said, "I just think we need a little break." Eternal was fine with it but still curious.
For the next week, Eternal learned much more than before and since Jacob didn't know what to do in his free time he just taught Eternal who learned a lot that week.
But Eternal saw that Jacob was acting kinda strange, Jacob was on his bed but couldn't sleep because something happened when he bumped shoulders with the man |Abilty Requirements met: fated bump| Reward: Fated Future | he immediately opened his status screen

He saw his future. He saw him and Eternal both get brutally murdered, and he saw a man and black clothing do it, the same man he just bumped into.
The whole week Jacob was on edge for one reason. The ability said that the future he sees was unavoidable. And the system's abilities that see into the future are mostly never wrong.
The system was here before man. You could even say that the system created the universe, though it is just a theory and not scientifically proven. A lot of people think that the system made the big bang maybe it was the big bang.
And Jacob wasn't some idiot who kills his tamed monster and hope the future would change. And even though Eternal hasn't known Jacob for that long they had a strong bond.
Jacob tried to calm himself down, if he just avoids things for the week he would be fine right.
The thing is Jacob needs money at least 1,250 for yearly rent he has about 950. Money was hard to come by. Unless you were strong or owned a big business. It was hard to make money this day and age, and since he was a tamer he wasn't really making money until he had Eternal. He had just enough money to make it so he had food and was saving up bit by bit for rent, but still didn't have enough. Jacob would need to go out eventually.
