The New Floor
(From now on when Eternal is talking, ^ is when he is thinking/talking to himself)
New quest: Kill 10 monsters on the second floor | Reward: Knowledge about the system and other things like words numbers, etc (basically human knowledge)|
Eternal looked at the new quest, what he basically understood from it. Is that he gets smarter if he kills 10 monsters.
So he started looking, he was hungry anyway. The next floor was exactly the same as the one above it besides it was a little taller and wider.
Eternal was still unsure if he could beat them. There were some monsters that were on the floor above that he had not fought yet. And he could be in danger if he wasn't strong enough.
But he didn't care about that, he just wanted food. He then saw an earth golem it was around 3 meters tall. And it was made completely of stone and moss.
"I'm ready, "^ Eternal said.
Eternal jumped at the golems and bit the golem's leg, barely cracking the solid rock. | 13 damage | Eternal grimaced about the lower number of damage. Eternal jumped back barely avoiding a massive stone hand.
"Grrrr, " Eternal growled at the stone mass.
As if responding to his remark a small stone launched at him. He narrowly dodged it, a screen than appeared | You have gained 1 agility | As soon as that popped up a small rock at a speed he could barely dodge, grazed him. | 2 hp lost 38 left |
As that happened anger became visible when looking at Eternal. With his skill rage, his strength and agility went up 10%. He started to dodge the rocks more easily now.
He then used all his mana to cast the spell
The golem could tell something was different. Eternal went for another chomp. He dodged a few rocks and the golem's fist. He then proceeded to bite through his arm making an arm drop.

Then right after the golem's arm was bitten off. It started to float and go back onto the golem. "Is that one of the golems abilities."^ Eternal wondered.
The golem then hit him sending him back a few feet. | 12 HP lost 30 left + 6 HP from abilities. | Eternal could feel his power slowly fading away from him he was going to turn back soon. He then as a desperate attempt leaped at the golems head. It failed to catch him and Eternal was able to bite its head.

As soon as the screens popped up his demonic form faded away. He fell on the ground panting, then two thoughts dawned on him the first one was he couldn't eat the golem the second one was. He never seemed to get thirsty why was that.

Eternal started walking around the caves until he saw something. Eternal didn't know this but the monster he saw was a Cave Bat. Like the rat, it had beady eyes and was 1.5 meters tall and 1 meter wide.
The bat was much weaker than the golem, and with his skill sneak attack, it was a two-shot. Eternal didn't know this but his glutton skill held food. So he could be fine without eating for about a month, but with his glutton skill, he wouldn't notice.
He started to eat the bat, it wasn't as juicy as the rat monsters it was chewy and a little salty. He liked them, Eternal started digging a hole for shelter, storage, and for fun. After he dug the hole. He went looking for another bat for the quest and for the food.
He found another bat and killed it getting closer to the quest goal. And getting more food, he was pretty tired after hunting it so he brought it back to the hole to eat.
The hole was kinda bumpy and not as good as his other one. He laid in his hole wondering what he would be eating tomorrow.
