Searching For The Truth

It had been two hours later. Raven and I had gone separate ways, she had work and I was on the hunt for the truth, 'Were my parent's both snake hybrids? if so, why was it kept from me? Did this have to do with my father's and my brother's disappearance over ten years ago, today?' yes, so many question but with very little time and that always seems to be the case in life. I drove faster, for the questions in my brain needed to be answered and perhaps think of what is next for me. Rain began to lightly fall upon the windshield, I slowed down a bit so I wouldn't hydroplane, I was forty five minutes away and I was remembered of a time of when the family was all together, we were driving under the same exact conditions but we were all in upbeat an vibrant mood. 'I miss those times.' I thought to myself while a tear began to muster in the back corner of my left eye. I quickly regained composure and I kept on driving. My mother was surprisingly to me was already outside awaiting for my arrival. My was not the easiest to like nor to get along but she did have a good heart in her own way. I quickly got out of the car and ran to my mother an hugged as tightly as I could, without hurting her of course.

"My child you haven't hugged me like this since that fateful tragedy surrounding your father and brother. Everything is alright my child, what is happening to you perfectly normal. Here, come inside and I'll explain everything to you." my mother showed me love and affection that I haven't felt from her in years.

"What exactly is happening to me mom..." my mom ushered me inside while never letting go of me. I bombarded her with questions that should've given her a headache but she didn't and remain calmed with me.

For the next five hours my mother explained everything to me; from our families curse to the family war we are facing with Werewolf clan, we be longed to the Snake clan and lore about the Gods that cursed us.
