"A weakling like you, dreaming to become a knight?" Impossible!"

Friends

"He is not my child, such failure of a child was never mine!"

Family

'I couldn't trust anyone except myself that day, the day that I was betrayed, the day that I was abandoned and thrown away.'

Rage, anger and despair turning it to power, but it came with great consequences.

"Someday I'll become someone great and prove to you all that you will regret throwing me away!"

As the cold raining night came, the child he ran as far as he can and rode on a carriage heading towards a forest. After the carriage stoppes an old man saw the boy and took pity on him then took him to a small hut.

As the child's eye's opening he found himself on a little hut with an old man sitting next to him.

"Where am I?"

The old man then woke up

"You are in my house boy, I found you behind my carriege unconscious. What were you doing there boy?"

The boy looked like he was in despair and simply replied.

"I ran away."

The old man didn't want to force anything on the boy and patted him in the head comforting him.

"What is you're name?"

"Rhyze Su-"

The boy hesitated for a second and replied.

"Rhyze, My name is Rhyze. How about you old man?"

"Me? My name is Reyle."

The name reminded Rhyze something but he didn't wanted to go through it instead.

"Hey old man?"

Reyle felt annoyed by calling him old man.

"Who you calling old man?! I am still 37 and 14 months old, I am not old!"

Rhyze then Grinned and laughed. Reyle felt refreshed seeing the him laugh and smile

"Hey old man? Do you do swordsmanship?"

Reyle knew that he saw the sword on his table and answered him.

"I know a few moves."

And then Rhyze look at Reyle with a serious face then said.

"Please teach me how to use a sword!"

Reyle then asked Rhyze.

"Holding a sword is not a joke boy, if you know the consequences of holding one then you better be prepared for the worst."

"I know how weak I am, that is why I want to change so that I can prepare for the worst, so that I am strong enough to face that worst that you speak of!"

Reyle then let out a big sigh out of him.

"Fine but on a condition. You must never quit the training I have to give you even if you are a child now being my disciple is not easy you will suffer and you will get hurt, but before all that with this power that if you can achieve it, promise me that you will never lose you're path."

Rhyze knew that Reyle was serious in every word that he said just now.

"I promise that I will do everything that you have just said."

Reyle was relieved

"I know we just met and all but you're training starts next week we need to make sure you are healthy first before we start training."

I wonder what kind of future this child will hold.

6 YEARS LATER

"Hey! Rhyze were going to the capital now!"

A voice of a man was heard coming from the door while knocking several times loudly.

"HEY! Are you still asleep?!"

The man kicked the door and as the door broke the little hut inside was empty.

"Where is that boy? if I don't see him in the next second I am going to the capital without him."

As he turned around he saw a young man on the back of his carriage waving at him.

"Hey Uncle Blockhead If you don't come I am going to steal you're carriage!"

The old man Felt angry and came back running to his carriage and Knocked Rhyze's head down.

"OUCH! Whad'ya Do that for!?"

"You wasted me a lot of time and effort by just going through that little house of your's."

The old man got angry but Rhyze still wanted to joke on him.

"Ah you broke my door, you better fix that when we get back."

Rhyze paused for a second "That is if I ever come back."

The old man had a puzzled face on him and asked

"What do you mean and why do you have so many stuff in the back?"

"I am entering this year, I am already 18 and I can enter the Kingdom Knights Army."

The old man was shocked that he heard that Rhyze was going to join the Kingdom Knights.

A Kingdom Knight was no ordinary knight nor an ordinary swordsman it was a group of Knight's where all over the continent was chosen and unique swordsmanship and skills was required for this and if one were to ever pass as gain the the title of a Kingdom Knight the position that they were given was equal to a Marques.

"That's impossible! Wait maybe it isn't, anyway you can't join in unless you are a noble, how are you going to participate?"

Rhyze face then turned serious.

"The news said that a week from now commoners will enter a competition whoever wins 1st place get's to enter the Kingdom Knights Exam and I will win no matter what."

The old man slapped Rhyze back hard to regain his thoughts.

"Ouch!"

"Well don't worry about it! The martial arts and swordsmanship that I thought you will surely pay off!"

Rhyze then looked at the old man

"Say's the guy who I have never even beaten before."

The old man looked away and whistled through it.

"Anyway we are almost there the kingdom of Ral."

Upon setting foot in the kingdom the Reyle went to rent a room in the bar while Rhyze went for a walk in the street.

While turning in the corner Rhyze bumped into someone.

"Ah! Sorry."

Rhyze heard a voice of a woman coming from the hoodie and saw behind her a bunch of men running towards them.

"Over here."

Rhyze pulled the girl behind the alley and covering her, the men that was chasing after her passed by and felt safe to come out.

"Are you okay?"

As Rhyze took let her go the girl said to him.

"I never asked for help."

"But it looked like you needed it."

Then as the Girl turned around and walked away he noticed that the girl he rescued had red hair on her.

"Geez not even a thanks? Red hair. maybe she was a noble."

A week passed and the competition was about to start, Rhyze entered the competition with the other 11 competators.

"Hey old man? Do you think I can win?"

The old man then smiled

"Have faith in your skill you are my Number 1 disciple and best there is!"

Rhyze then turned around and smile.

"Thank you- - -

Reyle"

The old man was shocked the Rhyze called his name for the first time and was in tears.

"Being old is really bad sometimes."

As Rhyze went up on stage with the other 11 competators he saw the red haired girl at the top of the stage watching her and Rhyze gave a little wave at her.

"What is she doing up there?"

As Rhyze looked through out the whole stadium he found his brother at the top of the stage.

His dark past came coming back filling him up with anger just before the competition.
