The Society Of The Velvet Gate’s Four Divisions

Division One: Sequia (Sapphire)

People who can use Magic as well as weapons. Their weapons are ordinary and without Magic, that's where their Magic skill comes in. Like wielding dual blades, they need to learn to balance their magic with their weapon to work in harmony.

Alone, their magic isn't as strong as the Division Two nor are they as exceptionally skilled in weaponry as Division Four, so they have to strive to strike the perfect balance if they ever wish to grow stronger.

So they learn the different weaponry and Magic control. Once they have mastered this, they become one of the most powerful Divisions because of the balance they strike.

They have an entirely black uniform complete with the button-up shirt, pants, shoes and jacket. It is decorated with gold embellishments as well as the crest of the Society on their jacket and shirt.

Though it is not necessary to wear their entire uniform every day, they should always wear it when they go on missions.

Both male and female wear the same uniform.

Stereotype: Cocky but very hard workers.

Division Two: Idylic (Opal)

Division Two specifies on those with magic that may not necessarily be the best for attack on the battlefield, so they are mostly used as healers or the 'relief squad'. However, that does not mean they cannot fight. It is the opposite really.

For example, Jasmine's Magic type is 'Mind Manipulation' so she is in charge of helping those who may have been brain-washed or mind manipulated in any kind of way in a mission. But that does not mean she can't kill you.

They do have their own weapons but it is not what they use to fight with. Their Magic is their entire essence and being so they take great care to cultivate them.

They are rumoured to be the most dangerous of all the Divisions.

This is entirely because they use Magic, which is very unpredictable and may sometimes be hard to control. This is why they do not go on the offence until absolutely necessary.

They do not have a uniform, just the crest in the form of a brooch they have to wear on whatever outfit they decide to wear that day.

Stereotype: Very pleasant and good-natured but can kill you with a snap of their finger.

Division Three: Solitue (Amethyst)

Division Three can be known as the 'stealth' team. They are Magic Users whose Magical ability specializes in sneaking around and going under-cover.

They are rarely seen in the Society because they are mostly out for work. Unlike the others, who can go and get their job done once called, they are required to put on another persona to spy on people.

They have to be very strong mentally as well as have incredible acting skills. Sometimes they are sent to impersonate a person for years on end.

There was one mission that took fifty years to complete.

Not only do they need to be smart enough to take on the personality of a completely different person, their mannerisms and likes as well as dislikes, but they also need to be able to throw that personality and connections away once they are done.

This is why they have the least number of people compared to the other three.

That is also why, once they finish a mission, they are given leisurely time for an extended period to recover from whatever may have happened while they were living as that person.

They too, do not have any uniforms. There is just no need.

Stereotype: Extremely cold and aloof. If they are friendly to you … run. (Unless is Adan … No, I take it back still run.)

Division Four: Eupora (Emeralds)

They are strong and skilled weapon users. This Division are ones believed to not have any Magic but once a weapon is in their hand, their magic awakens. It can be any weapon, even just a piece of stick.

Their Magic flows out of them to the weapon making something as simple as a pebble into something deadly.

They have control and mastery of all the weapons that ever existed in the world. How each one wields them is different depending on the Magic they possess.

They also know how to make their own weapon with whatever may be available around them. This was a lesson learnt because of an incident that happened long ago.

They have the same uniform as the Division One but theirs is white with gold embellishments and their crest is emerald.

Like the Division One, they do not have to wear their uniform all the time, just during missions.

Stereotype: Hot-headed and extremely blunt.
