Meraki Sagepice woke up at the hospital with no memory of who she is or what had transpired. She just remained there, an empty shell of a human.
That is, until a woman in a suit appeared to her and pledged loyalty to her in a blood pact. With that, a sudden and painful bloodlust consumed her entire consciousness. 
Who is she? Who is this woman? And why is the Sagepice family so feared?

Outrun The Truth

"Come on." Aurora ran out the door faster than any of them could and jumped down the stairs. Rose and Adan trying to keep up with her.

Rose ran while Adan just disappeared and appeared beside Aurora at the bottom of the stairs.

"Hey! No fair." Rose shouted, jumping down from the stairs to the ground. "You used your magic."

"I just use whatever is at my disposal?" He said, holding his hand up, "Just like you would use stairs if they were right in front of you."

"That … Is true." Rose huffed, "I hate you sometimes."

"Hey, don't worry. You're smart only." Adan said, patting her shoulder with his book, a plain look on his face.

"Right. I know you are only saying that to infuriate me." She mumbled.

"They are coming out." Aurora shushed them, as the door opened and the new recruits came out. The members lined the two walls to the dining hall to greet them.
