Outrun The Truth

Adan looked at Rose from the corner of his eyes. She came to his room the night before, asking him to join her in applying as volunteers specifically for their group.

"Do you even know their group name?" Adan had asked.

"Nope," Rose said, sprawling on his bed. "But I will take care of it."

"Why would you want to be the Dux? Don't you hate being in charge of kids?" Adan asked, sitting in front of his computer.

"I'm curious." She said, turning over on the bed. "Aurora has never been interested in anyone before, but in one day two people appeared that piqued her interest. Isn't that a little suspicious?"

"She does have some explaining to do," Adan said, typing away. "But you are right. Something is a little fishy. Even Milenka has been acting a little off."

"So, are you in?" Rose pulled his pillow under her, laying on it as she grinned at him.
