Telling Them

"Miss! Welcome back!" Aurora ran to me from the gate, pulling me into an embrace.

"I'm back," I said, as she took my bag from me. We started walking into the house through the gate as the questions poured out.

"You are early. I thought you would take another … five hours. It's still nine something." Aurora asked, clearly not aware of what happened.

"Today, I just needed to pick up the schedule and rearrange my classes. School actually starts in three days." I answered, "It was interesting though."

"That would explain it. Leo was looking forward to picking you up, he's going to be disappointed." She said, looking to the side. Something seems to be weighing heavy on her mind.

"Aurora. How old is Leo?" I asked as we entered the house.

"Leo? He's around your age." Aurora pulled me into the kitchen. "Why?"

"Shouldn't he be in school then?" I sat on a chair there as Aurora placed my bag on the table.
