That is, until a woman in a suit appeared to her and pledged loyalty to her in a blood pact. With that, a sudden and painful bloodlust consumed her entire consciousness.

Outrun The Truth

"Miss." Aurora started with a voice as gentle as the breeze as she searched my eyes for a hint of anything but I remain blank. Mostly because I have no idea what she is looking for or what she's trying to say.

"Yes?" I replied, peaking a glance at the other two at the back. Rose had her hand on Jasmine's shoulders, while Jasmine clutched her bag in her hands tightly.

Why is everyone looking so concerned? Do they know something I don't?

I wouldn't call it that, but they think they know something you don't. Something like that.

Can't you just tell me?

Where's the fun in that? Sometimes, I live for these types of misunderstandings.

If Kefi doesn't think it important to clarify then maybe it isn't as serious as they make it out to it.
