The drive back to the house was silent as I watched the cars pass us with their headlights on and the tall buildings in the distance lit like little lights in the darkening surrounding.

The air felt cooler, even as I opened window, nothing threatened to burn me with its heat like earlier that day.

The sky was such a pretty shade of pink and orange, the wind seemed to play with my hair and I felt strangely liberated in that moment.

Like there was nothing holding me down, not expectations, nor memories.

Memories …

"What's wrong?" She asked, panic on her face.

"What happened?" Jasmine quickly turned around as well while Rose continued to drive.

"You can use manipulate memories right?" I asked her.

"Well, it's something like that. I can do so much with the human mind."

"Why, Miss?"
