That is, until a woman in a suit appeared to her and pledged loyalty to her in a blood pact. With that, a sudden and painful bloodlust consumed her entire consciousness. 
Who is she? Who is this woman? And why is the Sagepice family so feared?

Outrun The Truth

As we approached the house, the gate opened on its own and at the entrance stood Leo and Caris smiling at us.

Aurora stopped the car in front of the house as the gates closed again. She turned off the engine and the other two made their way to us.

"Meraki. I missed you." Caris said, peeking into my window, grinning.

"Right," I said opening the door. "How was it? Making dinner?"

"It went off swimmingly." He grinned, "I am sure you all will enjoy it."

"Rose?" I called as she stepped out of the car and stretched.

"I will schedule for a poison check." She said, looking back into the car to grab Jasmine.

"Hey, Aurora," Leo said, peeking into the window.

"Leo." She grinned, opening the door and stepping out of it. She put her arms around the boy and pulled him closer, "How was your day?"

"It was fine. Can I park the car?" He asked, eyes beaming up at her.
