Meraki Sagepice woke up at the hospital with no memory of who she is or what had transpired. She just remained there, an empty shell of a human.
That is, until a woman in a suit appeared to her and pledged loyalty to her in a blood pact. With that, a sudden and painful bloodlust consumed her entire consciousness. 
Who is she? Who is this woman? And why is the Sagepice family so feared?

Outrun The Truth

"You know that you are not going to be able to go back tonight right, Aurora?" Jasmine asked as Aurora stepped out of the portal with a sigh.

"I know." She said, "Meraki is smart enough to get it."

"Get what?" Rose asked, walking out of the portal and looked at the two, "Why am I always here only for half of the conversation?"

"That is all on you." Jasmine said with a grin, "But I didn't get what she meant by that either."

"I gave her the credit card in her hands as we were saying bye." She said with a smile while the two looked at her with a concerned expression on their faces.

"You gave her the credit card?" Jasmine asked, looking at her cautiously, "You do know that she has never, really, handled money before. Right?"

"Yes," Aurora said with a smile, as Jasmine and Rose exchanged looks again. "Why are you two so worried? Meraki is a smart girl. She will know how to handle herself."
