Meraki Sagepice woke up at the hospital with no memory of who she is or what had transpired. She just remained there, an empty shell of a human.
That is, until a woman in a suit appeared to her and pledged loyalty to her in a blood pact. With that, a sudden and painful bloodlust consumed her entire consciousness. 
Who is she? Who is this woman? And why is the Sagepice family so feared?

Outrun The Truth

"What are you going to give up?" They asked, still swirling around Aurora.

Sighing, Aurora looked at the others and said, "My position of Prodigy is going to be terminated by me. You may choose whoever you want to take my place."

"What?" Lilith asked, standing up from her seat in a fit of rage. "You cannot do that."

"She can." Milenka said with a smile, "It is in the rules. The prodigy may step down whenever they wish to, given that they provide a good enough reason for that."

"What may her reason be then?" Cree asked, looking at Aurora with a fit of anger in his voice.

"I made a deal with the two." She said, pleasantly smiling at Warden and Reality before turning back to him. "That is good enough reason, don't you think so?"

"Of course. I do think that is enough of a good excuse." Milenka said, standing up and clapping her hands together to summon a book to cut Aurora's name off the list of prodigies.
