Meraki Sagepice woke up at the hospital with no memory of who she is or what had transpired. She just remained there, an empty shell of a human.
That is, until a woman in a suit appeared to her and pledged loyalty to her in a blood pact. With that, a sudden and painful bloodlust consumed her entire consciousness. 
Who is she? Who is this woman? And why is the Sagepice family so feared?

Outrun The Truth

As we entered the house, we could see that it was significantly emptier than it was before.

"All the maids and servants are gone," Kefi said, looking around the quiet house. "We should check on the others before we look into that ... other thing."

We walked to the living room and saw Adan, Leo and Caris sprawling all across the couches. Pieces of their suits were scattered everywhere and they look tired out of their mind.

"Are you all ok?" Kefi asked, trying not to laugh at them.

"We are fine," Caris said, sitting up. "Where did you disappear to anyway? The look the father and mother gave me and Leo were ... scary, to say the least."

"Scary?" I asked, taking a seat beside them. "How scary?"

"They definitely think that we are trying to scam you out of your inheritance or something." Caris shrugged. "Well, it does make it look that way, if you think deeply about it."
