Outrun The Truth

"Aurora. I heard your call. What happened?" Rose burst into the room as Aurora began tearing everything apart in a panic.

"Aurora." Jasmine quickly ran to her, trying to stop her from destroying her room. "What are you doing?"

"Hey, get yourself together." Rose grabbed her by the shoulders and began shaking her insccently. "Calm down. Who is back?"

"It's not supposed to be here. It is not-"

"What happened?" Lake asked as the three entered the room, their hair a dishevelled mess.

"Nightshift?" Adan asked, running down the stairs.

"Yes," Lake said, stretching. "I am so tired. Ruben, wake up."

He shook the man with his shirt unbuttoned and holding a pillow as he fell asleep standing up.

"We took the night jobs because we kept being called out all the time during mornings," Dario said, stretching as he looked at Aurora and Adan with a tired smile on his face.
