Meraki Sagepice woke up at the hospital with no memory of who she is or what had transpired. She just remained there, an empty shell of a human.
That is, until a woman in a suit appeared to her and pledged loyalty to her in a blood pact. With that, a sudden and painful bloodlust consumed her entire consciousness.

Outrun The Truth

Gasping as I sat back up, I looked around me, feeling all around me as I tried to take in as deep of a breath as I could.

I touched my chest to feel my heart still beating on my side as I heard a loud laugh appear around me.

I could not feel Kefi with me anymore but ... she is fine. I know she is.

Turning to the left of me, I saw the sun completely set as the man continued to laugh in front of me.

"Everything is just going according to plan!" He shouted as I got up.

The pains on my sides gone as I looked at him.

I felt magic coursing through my body as I took in a deep breath. This felt oddly like Wren's one.

Why is that? What connections do I have to him?

"You!" I shouted to the man as he stopped laughing immediately.

"Yes? You can call me by my name, you know that right?" he asked, smiling.

"Jude is alright, right?" I asked, frowning at him.
