After one more week of practice he got the infusion under control. Now he could use the magical missile as he wanted. He also learned to use the magical clock, which was a magic, that showed the exact time when he wanted.
'Still I can't use anything that would make a UI like stuff. The only thing I can see in my vision range is the time in the left top corner of my eyes. This imaginative magic is not that helpfull with this stuff, like I would've wanted.'
Meanwhile he started to practice with sword as well. He read a few books about magic and found out a few more things that would help him with casting spells, also he learned more of them.
'Now my stats are a lot better!'

You have the ability to cast spells. It requires to much concentration and effort to use it, so it's almost unusable in combat.
'The description did not change for anything, though the rating went up for a few ones. I guess tomorrow I'll have to practice even more.'
In the morning he woke up to his alarm spell, when it was 7 am. He got ready for work, then went to the office, where Flinn and Cley waited for him.
"Good morning kid!"
"Good morning!"
He felt awkward. He never got the chance to speak with the owner of the mansion. But now he came to the office and it looked like he wants to speak with him.
"I've heard that you've been to Elfheim before. Is that true?"
"Yes, sir."
'Again with the pressure. It's getting a little bit annoying, like they don't trust me even after 2 weeks.'
"We trust you, it's nothing like that."
Flinn was reading his thoughts as always. He never got anything to hide from him.
"It's just that you are so weak that you can't resist the pressure of the magic we have."
He knew it allready, but he also knew that it can be controlled. So if they wanted to they could've just weaken it down. But most likely they didn't really cared about such trivial things.
"You still can't use telepathy?"
Cley was really awkward, it was obvious that he never speaks out loud.
"I'm sorry, but no."
"Then I'll be as short as I can. I want you to go with the next party that heads to Elfheim, to bring something back to Bran."
He held out a letter to him.
"But wouldn't I get cursed if I go back?"
Flinn answered him.
"Not really. Most of the people, who are not forbid to enter can go there every now and then, you just can't stay for more than two days."
"That is helpfull. But you said something about a party? So I don't have to go alone?"
Flinn looked at him with a serious look.
"Obviously not! After what you said we can't be cautious enough!"
'That's true... That troll might still be around.'
He took the letter.
"So when do we leave?"
"Tomorrow at 6 am. You'll meet the party in the front of the entrance."
Cley started to walk to the door.
"Now that it is done, I'll take my leave."
"Goodbye!"
The day went by normally. He took a book from the library called novice spells, so he can learn stuff when they take breakes.
Next day morning he went out from the mansion. Before it was carriage drawn by two horses, which had horns like deers have. Next to it there were four elfs, two younger looking, one man and a female and two adult mans, one of them had golden hair and the other one black. They looked like veteran knights with scars all over their faces.
He saw one of the young ones while practicing. He usually fought with others in the arena and was one of the best. But he haven't seen the other one. Also he never saw the two grownups. They all looked battle ready in their gear and weapons on them. It seemed like they are preapering for war.
"Greetings! My name is Joseph Smith. I'll be in your care!"
They looked at him like he was some neglectible person. Except for the young one he didn't know. She walked in front of him and hold out her hand her fingers pointing in the grounds direction.
'Does she wants my to kiss her hand?'
He read about it a lot of times in novels and seen it movies, so he knew how to do it. He bowed to her, gently held her hand and lightly kissed the air above it, not touching it with his mouth. She started to laugh.
"Hahaha! It seems like he knows how to show respect!"
She stood in front of him giving him a feeling of awe.
"My name is Elisa! I'm the daughter of the owner of this mansion. I hope we will have a pleasent ride together."
He smiled at her awkwardly.
"I hope as well."
The others packed up all the items they wanted on the carriage and the other young one bowed to Elisa and said.
"We should start moving. The road is long."
She turned back and sligthly touched his shoulder.
"Eric! I allready told you not to behave like that! You are my childhood friend. You were never like this and I don't like it when you do this!"
He looked at her with serious look.
"I cannot do that."
She looked upset because of this and hurried to the carriage.
"Then do whatever you please!"
She shut the door behind her.
Joseph felt very awkward.
"Eric right? Are you her personal knight?"
He looked at Joseph with a look that had hatred in it.
"Yes! And if you try anything I will personally kill you!"
He felt even worse because of it, but got the gist of what was happening.
"Don't worry!"
Then he leaned closer to him and whispered.
"I see you keep her close to your hearth. If you want help, I can ask her about you, while travelling."
He looked really angry by the suggestion.
"Why would you do that! Get out of my sight!"
His face was really red. As Joseph walked by him he couldn't stop smiling.
'I hope I can do something for these two. They look alike, it would be a fun to help them.'
Then he walked to the two other guards.
"Good morning to you sirs!"
They muttering under their nose something good morning like.
"Where should I be? Outside the carriage, or inside with the lady?"
They looked at eachother. Then one of them said.
"You can be inside. There is only enough place for three people outside anyway."
"But if anything happens to lady Elisa... I think we don't even have to say it!"
He looked at them smiling.
"Do you think I would be working for Master Flinn with that kind of attitude?"
They measured him with their eyes.
"That is true. Also it looks like if you would try anything the lady would just beat you up."
He didn't feel better after the comment, but what could he do? That was the thruth.
He entered the carriage and sit in front of Elisa.
