The doctor Part 1

After eating they went to the doctor's house. They knocked on the door but nobody answered. They waited for a while, when a man from the neighbor house came out.

"If you are searching for the doc, he went out to a patient. He will be back by afternoon."

Catherine tuned towards him.

"Where can we find the patient he went to?"

"Why would I share that with you?"

Joseph stepped forward.

"I'm an acquaintance of the doctor."

He showed his badge.

"I belive he wears one that looks similar to this."

The man took a look at it.

"Yes. Though his looks like cooking utensils, not like yours."

"We worked at the same place, but different parts. He did the cooking, I did the paper job."

The guy looked lost in thoughts for a moment.

"Alright. You can find him at the end of the street in the biggest house. Though they won't let you in. They only allow nobles and the ones who they invited in."

"Thank you. Have a nice day!"

"You too."

The man walked off.

"Are we going there Catherine?"

"Of course. What else do we do?"

"True."

They walked to the end of the street. There was a house that looked more fashionable than the most houses in town. It had a yard with an iron bar garden wall and two guards at the gate. Behind the walls there were flowerbeds with different flowers blooming. The house was painted white and had 2 floors.

"Not bad. Now what?"

Catherine looked at Joseph. He walked up to the gate.

"Excuse me. I heared the doctor was here."

The guard on the left looked at him.

"Yes he is here. He is treating the daughter of the baron."

"Then could you give him a message, that Joseph from the manor of Cley is in town? We are at the inn..."

"Inn of the Winged Horse."

"Thank you Catherine."

They looked at him with a questioning look.

"Oh right."

Joseph took out 2 silver and give one to each guard.

"As a thank you gift."

They pocketed the silver.

"We will definetly tell him that you were searching for him. Now please go away."

"Yes. We are going. See you guys!"

They stood there silently as the two of them left. They walked around the town until noon, then they returned to the inn to eat.
