The muscular men dragged me along between them. The sound of my shoes scraping on the cement wasn't even near as loud as my heart beat. God, if this is a joke, send me back into Elliots warm arms soon! The screen door flung open, and in I went. I was thrown on the rug, right at my dad's feet. He had a fake caring expression on, but what he was really feeling was, "Wait until he leaves, I won't have a traitor son like you walking this earth!" I scooted towards the tv stand, leaning against it. I gave up the idea of running away, so I'll endure their torture like always. Though the last time I met Dezba, he nearly killed me, but who cares, I mean he is the alphas son. His annoying but deep voice made me close my eyes as I listened.
"Where did you go?" Dezba was pissed. I could hear it in his tone. Well, since he didn't pop me out of his stomach or give me the seed of life, I don't think I have to answer him. "I plead the fifth." I could feel Dezba smirk, as my dad was now about to burst in a fit of rage.
Dezba started talking again. "Happy to see me again?" Ew, if I was happy to see you, I wouldn't be thinking of a way to cover up your death. I stayed silent, neither talking or opening my eyes.
One of them sighed. I think it was Dezba. Yep, it was him. "I came to tell you and your dad something important today. But, I found out that you ran away from home, and have been missing for the whole day. Mind telling me where you've been?" His tone was demanding. Oh. To think of it, Elliot doesn t have that good of a relationship with his father either. I didn't think we also shared that in common. I stopped listening to Dezba for a while now, which ticked him off. He was off the sofa in a flash, grabbing my jaw.
I showed no emotions as I slowly opened my eyes and stared into the black voids, that were looking into my very soul. "Done ignoring me?" He was really mad. Should I start to talk? I don't feel like it. I'm tired. If they want to take turns beating me, let them.
"Is that how you treat your future husband?" At these words, my whole body started to tremble beneath him. My answer satisfied him. Is killing him or me an option? I would love that option right now!
Sorry, Elliot. I really wanted to be your boyfriend. A tear trickled down my face. I don't want him in my life. I don't want him near me. Help, somebody! I pushed him away with all my strength. He stumbled back a little, still crouching on the ground. His bodyguards, still outside, notice something happened. I ran up the stairs, as my "father" yelled after me. I slammed my bedroom door. I threw open my drawers searching. I finally found it. A clear bottle with my name on it. Mom gave it to me. It hides the scent of any living creature. I sprayed it on me. I heard heavy foot steps on stairs. I grabbed my emergency duffle bag, and jumped out of the window. I landed on the harsh concrete. I think I sprained my ankle, but I didn't stop running. I ran as fast as I could down the alley way. I looked back to see Dezba looking down at me, his eyes in a deadly stare. I need to hide. Now!
