Arriving at a shrine

After leaving yet another portal behind, Mew saw a very familiar place. In front of him were red tori gates, just like the ones he had seen when he went on the field trip with Koro sensei's class. Yet unlike then, right now Mew could feel an invigorating energy filling the very air.

Looking around in curiosity, Mew could see all kinds of 'people' with masks on their faces. They looked really funny. There were also humans walking around, but they seemed unable to see the masked people.

'How fun!'

Looking further inside, Mew wondered what made this place so special. There were so many people coming here, don't even mention standing in line to pray. He wondered what they were praying for.

"Ara, what have we here? A lost little spirit.. How adorable."

One of the masked people walked towards Mew, seemingly wanting to help, but Mew could hear the slight hint of mockery in his voice.

[Go away. Don't need your help.] Mew refused the proposal to help even before the masked man could ask.

Mew could even see a tick mark appearing on his face.

"Haa? Arrogant aren't you. Your kind isn't welcome here at Izumo. Disappear you filthy creature, before you taint our gods eyes with your appearance."

[Filthy?! Taint?!?]

Mew said as, for the first time since traveling around in different world, he was becoming angry.

If one could only feel the angry mood Mew was in, then the masked man would already ran away.

[Who could you possibly be talking about? If someone was tainting anothers eyes, then it would be you, you feet-licking dog.]

Mew said, a mocking giggle coming from his mouth.

[Scamper back to where you came from. I don't even want to see a hair of you in front of me.]

Not waiting for the man to reply, Mew poked the masked man's forehead in a seemingly carefree manner, but as soon as the little finger connected, the man was blown backwards, his figure disappearing in a puff of smoke as in its place was exactly what Mew had called the man, a dog.

[Heee, you really are a dog. How fitting.]

Mew said as he looked with disgust at the small dog.

"How dare you call me a dog! I am a proud Komainu, a guardian of this shrine. Just wait until our god punishes you for blasphemy."

The komainu said as he barked angrily at Mew.

[I want to see him try.]

Mew responded as he glared at the angry komainu.

The Komainu quickly ran inside, no doubt reporting this thing to his god.

From Mew's shadow, Gengar appeared, a snicker leaving his mouth.

"Gegege! We only just arrive and you already make trouble, Gegege. I wonder if you are the one in trouble this time, or if it will be that god."

Gengar said as an exciting glimmer was seen in his eyes.

[We'll see.]

Mew said, as carefree as he was before he met the Komainu.
