Meeting old friends Pt. 5

With a single charge of energy, Mew created a warp point in space, something that would increase his speed up to the point he would enter hyperspace.

If he was in his original world, it would easily rip open space towards other dimensions. As this wasn't something he wanted, he tweaked it a bit and turned it into an entrance to the hyperspace lanes.

It was a brilliant plan, if he had to say so himself.

With the pink bubble on his back, his passengers safely stuck to his back, Mew enjoyed the feeling of lightspeed, the sights of stars shooting past him.

[Don't forget to disguise yourselves. Wouldn't want the clones on Coruscant to kill you on sight.]

Mew said, though they couldn't see his grin, they could clearly hear it in his voice.

"I concur, Ahsoka. We need a plan to find out what happened to the other generals. From what our... friend has told us, general Skywalker is currently out of reach for the Sith. I fear for what has happened to the other generals. They wouldn't know what hit them."

"I agree Rex. The future looks dim. It would be in our best interest if the situation has not yet escalated to that point in the temple yet. We might yet save to younglings. As the clones have not been posted in the temple, there might yet be a chance. While I go to the younglings, you and Jesse find out what the current situation is in Coruscant."

Jesse, who had woken up just a while ago, nodded his head in agreement.

He did not like the feeling of being controlled, especially since he turned on one of his own. His brother and commander.

"Yes commander. We will do our best."

Mew wondered how well the plan would go.

They had limited allies in Coruscant as of now, as every clone had turned against them.

The best plan would be if he could speed things along, even if it wasn't he himself that helped them do it.

Pondering on what to do, Mew left the hyperspace lane and neared the planet of Coruscant.

[Then I will give Ahsoka a helping hand with the younglings. Three of my companions have been updated about the state of things by a few of the Jedi in my Garden. They should be able to find their way on the planet. Once the younglings have been brought to safety, we will find a alternative home for them. Any suggestions on that, young Tano?]

Mew asked, his last words carrying a hint of humor, as it made him think a lot of how a few Jedi had previously addressed her when she was a Padawan.

Giving a small smile in return, Ahsoka nodded.

"Alderan or Naboo would be best, as they both look postively to the presence of Jedi. Senator Bail Organa wouldn't mind to let the younglings stay, even if it is for a while. Neither would the people of Naboo mind, as Senator Amidala has a fond spot for the younglings."

Hearing the name of the young senator, Mew wondered how he would break the news of her demise.

That reminds him, she had asked him to find her children if he returned. It would be a good time to find them once this was over. Chances were they would be with Obi-wan Kenobi or that Bail Organa man.

[Then we will go with that. My companions will know how to contact me, so do not hesitate to do so when you are ready. I will visit some other place in the meantime. A little friend of mind wants to play with an old creepy man.]

Not knowing what Mew meant with that, Ahsoka looked confused, but kept her eyes on her own mission.

Flying down to the temple, they could see a clone squadron moving towards it in the distance.

[I suggest you hurry.]

Mew said as he left the clone duo, the droids and Ahsoka to do their own part.

Mew lifted of and flew towards the senate, in the direction of a vile and dark aura that belonged no other than to the prime chancellor of Coruscant, Palpatine.

The Sith who orchestrated this mess.
