First day at work

Dek saw the guard from yesterday which the smiled creepily to him.

Dek felt a shiver down his spine but shrugged it off, he then smiled weirdly towards the guard.

The guard saw Dek's smile and somehow felt shivers down his spine too.

They continued to be like this for five minutes, the surrounding students who was watching them also felt like shivering.

They thought something bad was going to happen.

Luckily nothing happened...

Dek ran towards the administrative office in order to avoid that crazy guard.

He saw the man from yesterday outside the office and walked towards him, he asked, "Sir, I am from yesterday, perhaps would you tell me where the utility office is?"

The man then looked at him and said, "Oh, its you, the utility office is downstairs and by the way, think you can handle cleaning the whole school?"

"Yes sir!"

"Haha.. thats great then, oh, you can call me Mister Taiki." The man added.

Dek then ran downstairs to the utility office, he opened the door and went inside, he switched on the lights and saw whats inside the room. At first he thought that he was in the wrong office because of how neat and tidy the whole room is, but he saw something that is so brilliant, he walk closely to it and saw what it was.

It was a pair of jade gloves..

He examined it and later found out that the whole thing is made out of carved jade. He was dumbstruck before even realizing it.

Dek was somewhat hesitating to put on the gloves at first but eventually decided to, when it touched his skin for the first time he felt rejuvenated by it.

Beep.. Beep.. Beep..

"System rebooting," An unfamiliar voice resounded in Dek's mind.

He looked around to see where the voice is coming from, but he found out that he was alone in the room.

"Reboot complete." The voice resounded again. "New host found, would the host please choose a name."

Dek was dumbfounded this time, eventually he recovered.

He stared at the semi-transparent screen in front of him, he remembered that he need to choose a name and said, "I choose Dek."

"Dick it is," The womanly voice of the system said.

"No!! Dek not dick!!" Dek shouted as he was panicking.

"Sorry for the in​con​ve​nience, dear host, Dek is the one you choose, please confirm," The system's voice sounded.

"Hehe.." Dek mumbled. 'Glad that was over,' he thought. "Would the host please charge the system," said by tge system.

"How?" Dek couldn't help but asked.

"By cleaning of course," said sarcastically by the system.

Dek was thinking that the system was sometimes a kuudere, sometimes a tsundere. He sighed, the voice didn't speak now.

When he came back from his self, he was now wearing the gloves but the texture is smooth and the color is now pure white, he remembered that he still needs to clean the whole school, so got right into it.

After 3 hours, he was finished cleaning the school.

He got back to the utility office and sat on a chair.

"System?" Dek said as he pondered.

"What is it, dear host?" The calm and sweet voice of the system sounded.

Dek clearly thought that the system was in 'kuudere' mode. He sighed.

"If I removed the gloves would you go?" Dek said.

The system could blush if it could but could not.

"Oh sorry, let me rephrase that, if I removed the gloves, will you be removed too?"

"No," said casually by the system. "I am now a a part of your mind, well, if you die then I will go back to the gloves, reboot and find another host."

Dek now realized that the reason of all this was because this was a magical school before. That is what the guard told him about, but why would the guard said to becareful if the item is only a pair of gloves.
