127 – Six Months later
The first intent Xiao Yan just dissipated was the Ancestral Master Daozang.
He knew the latter would propose them to become his disciple to receive his Daozang Secret Command, allowing them to command anyone from his lineage at the cost of the Sage Emperor always being after their lives.
If they accepted, they wouldn't be able do explore the world without care as long as the Same Emperor wasn't dead.
But to kill him he would need to be at the peak of the Deity Rank.
At that level, fighting battles with the remaining bullies of the Divine Feathers Sect would be too boring!
That's why he didn't hesitate to kill the remnant spirit when he detected the treasure he was looking for.
The other intent was the consciousness of the palace itself.

He could also use energy to recharge the time from now on.
Furthermore, the book-artifact could be used in an area outside of it.

He checked the whole palace thanks to the painting-artifact and nodded with satisfaction.
Xiao Ning'er and Ye Ziyun felt really satisfied about this excursion.
They gave all of the treasures they received to Xiao Yan.
He duplicated a Gold Spiritual Stone Essence and it used forty thousand Spiritual Stones.
They received hundreds of those from the Void Illusionary Divine Palace.
One had as much energy as one hundred Spiritual Stone Essences.

At the beginning, the latter was a Stage-3 Martial Ancestor and could easily take care of most of the threats within the Draconic Ruins Realm.
At some point, after they already took thousands of Deity Roots, the Deity Lakes they found started to have cultivators of the Heavenly Star Realm guarding them, so they stopped looking for the oldest ones.
It wasn't that they couldn't beat them, as each of the three of them could even beat Dao of Dragon Realm experts, but those Deity Lakes were still producing a good amount of Spiritual Stones and were well known.
He didn't want some annoying weaklings going after them or spreading words about them destroying Deity Lakes.
As for the ones they took before, the amount they produced were too low for the people to even care.
So, with the help of the LoHP, they started looking for the nearest unmanned Deity Lakes.
For the low-grade ones, they had demon beasts of the Heavenly Fate, Heavenly Star and Heavenly Axis guarding them, so the three were more than enough to deal with it.
The leader of the demons beasts guarding the middle-grade ones were at the Dao of Dragon Realm.
They could usually take care of these by themselves.
In the rare cases that it was too powerful for them, they would call Duan Jian.
The high-grades ones had Dao of Dragon Realm demon beasts led by powerful Martial Ancestors.
Duan Jian would have to take care of all those who were too powerful for the trio.
But one time, even he wasn't strong enough, so Xiao Yan used the TDSB to accelerate the time inside of the Myriad Miles Rivers and Mountains Painting one year forward.
With the new resources produced by the Deity Lakes, he duplicated enough Gold Spiritual Stone Essences for Duan Jian to reach the peak of the Martial Ancestor Realm.
He then sent the latter in the painting-artifact and used the TDSB until he reached the desired level.
When they finished, Xiao Yan accelerated the time a few-months to let all of the last Deity Roots to form their Deity Lakes.
He now had nearly ten thousand Deity Lakes.
More than nine thousand were low-grades, seven hundred were middle-grades and around a hundred were high-grade ones.
Altogether, each month they were producing over a hundred million Spiritual Stones, one million Spiritual Stone Essences and a thousand Gold Spiritual Stone Essences.
He now had enough cultivating resources to become a Deity Rank expert, but he first wanted to play with Gu Heng over his Deity Lakes.
