Chapter 15: Nine Tail Fox

"Qin Shi Huang, we got a pack of the wolf in front. What's the plan?" Cheng Qiang asked

Right now the Trio is inside the forest hunting beasts and they are in front of some grey wolfs group

And each wolf's height is double their height and no doubt they all are strong. Their group consists of total of 6 wolfs.

The reason for why Cheng Qiang asked Mo Yuanjun about the next step is because among those 3, no doubt Hu Shuchun is now really strong still, the one who knows how to use his brain for good

Making plans that will make sure there is minimal damage is much more important than making sure no matter what we have to complete the task

Completing tasks with minimal damage is what Mo Yuanjun is good at. He thinks a lot, makes sure that every step they are taking is not too much or else they might lose their life which is very common in this world

After some deep thinking, Mo Yuanjun made the plan and said "I'll launch an attack first, attracting them here, Cheng Qiang will blast his qi at them as wildly as possible so there is no chance for them to fight back. As for Hu Shuchun, you will provide a defense as you have the best and much bigger amount of Qi in yourself

And if there are some wolfs left or trying to attack, I'll take care of them. Still don't lose your guard or use much of your strength as we don't know what dangers we might encounter very soon."

Both of them heard his words and prepared their weapons. Hu Shuchun took her scarf out and Cheng Qiang held his wooden stick firmly

Mo Yuanjun climbed the tallest tree and aimed his arrow which is fused with his Qi to make sure the beast he will aim at will die at one shot

*whooooo*

Mo Yuanjun took a deep breath and then focused all his attention on the beast which is the smallest in size.

Why did he choose the smallest wolf?

The answer is simple, people always try to aim at the strongest or largest beast when they are in this situation, but that's their biggest mistake.

The smaller beast is easily avoided by the eyes of everyone as they all are focused in the largest one and eventual the small beast finds the perfect moment to attack them

And also, this is not some fake show, where he will aim at the large beast and then one by one, with his team, he will kill all beasts.

Animals/beasts are way smarter than we all think

*Whoosh*

Mo Yuanjun aimed at the smallest and released his arrow.

The arrow moved at a very high speed and in a blink pierced the head of the small grey wolf making him fall on the ground, dead

*ROAR*

All beast's started roaring and go on full alert.

They started scanning/sniffing the area around them, finding which way the arrow came from and at that time they smelled a unique scent

And following that smell, they saw a man in front of them

Cheng Qiang looked at the beast with his eyes set on them as if he already were dead in his eyes

He lifted his hands up, the one which had a stick and then with a glare waved it

*whoosh*

A big wave of Qi falls on the ground, going after that group of beasts.

*booom*

*HOWL*

The attack landed correctly on the beasts. The beast howled in pain and prepared to attack at Cheng Qiang

"Come" Cheng Qiang roared at them and then launched one after another attack at those beasts

*WHOOOSH*

*BOOM*

One after another attack landed on those beasts tearing their skins apart. Giving them no chance to fight back and when they tried to run away Mo Yuanjun killed them with his Qi infused arrows.

Few beasts also tried to sneak near them but got discovered by Hu Shuchun as she was fully alert that time and kept scanning her area.

She killed those beasts and protected her friends

A good plan always leads to the victory with ease

In just a few minutes, the whole pack/group of grey wolfs got massacred.

6 beasts are killed, so 6 spirit stones are received.

See, it's very easy to earn spirit stones right?

As time passed, the trio moved deeper into the forest and on their way they kept on killing more and more beast

While hunting beasts, Mo Yuanjun, Hu Shuchun, and Cheng Qiang learned more and more new ways to use their Qi, also, Mo Yuanjun tested his defensive spell and it really worked the way he planned

He threw the paper up in the sky, the letters in paper disappeared and what was left behind was a piece of paper and an almost invisible shield made up of Qi around him

Also, Cheng Qiang also learned how he can use his Qi in a more destructive way which made him really happy.

With Mo Yuanjun's brain and his archery skill, Hu Shuchuns ultimate defense and Cheng Qiang's explosive Qi, made things way easier then they had imagined

In just a few hours they have killed 100's of the beast, believe it or not, but yes, they really killed 100s of the beast in just a few hours

"The sun will set soon, let's stop our hunt now" Mo Yuanjun said to his buddy

"Really, but I think we can still go on and even if its night we can make it out somehow" Cheng Qinag said and Hu Shuchun also nodded

"We are strong, no doubt but are we really strong enough to face some strong beasts? NOPE, we are still weak. Let's not push our luck too much or else something could happen" Mo Yuanjun said firmly

In this world all beast are divided into 5 grades, purple

And so far they have defeated/kill only purple and few green level beasts, but Mo Yuanjun knew that in this world death is not that far, it's always close-very close to you

Also, so far, they have never faced any strong or life-threatening beast which is making his heart uneasy, as to how can they not see even a single strong beast so far?

How?

It's not like he is against it, it's just that not being able to even feel any strong beast is making him feel that all problems might come at one time.

So he wanted to take the safe route.

Cheng Qiang and Hu Shuchun tried to tell him to do a little more hunting but Mo Yuanjun stood firmly as he had to remain always cool and calm because in his group the one who really uses his brain is him alone.

Other two have brains but they are not up to the mark

So finally, Cheng Qiang and Hu Shuchun gave up, followed his words, and prepared to leave the forest.

Right now they are on their way back home. As for how much loot they have, they have around 150 spirit stones with them and have also skinned those wolfs and fox skin as their fur was really smooth and will sell well

Though they wanted to carry the whole body of those beasts and sell each part for money, they don't have any storage ring and the least expensive one will cost them around 500spirit stones

And they don't have such wealth, so they will safe their money and when they would have enough money to buy a good storage ring, they will buy it at that time

The sun will set soon, in just a few minutes and they still have a long way to go so they could be out of the forest.

Mo Yuanjun don't know why but his heart is beating rapidly as if his sixth sense is telling him that a big danger is coming

The suns sets behind the mountains and the darkness falls in this forest

And at that time a roar came

*ROAR*

"What was that?" Hu Shuchun and Cheng Qiang said in unison as they look at the sky

The roar was not a simple one, it was clear that the roar is not of some small beast but literally a giant beast

Mo Yuanjun could feel that something worst is going to come soon, very soon.

"Let's run" Mo Yuanjun yelled and started running

Seeing Mo Yuanjun losing his cool, both of them (cheng Qiang and Hu Shuchun) knew that something is not right

They didn't use their brain much and followed Mo Yuanjun's word, running after him

*roar*

Another big roar roamed throughout the forest but the trio didn't stop and kept on running at the very high speed

*whoosh*

Suddenly Mo Yuanjun stopped running, seeing him suddenly stood both of them also stopped and asked

"What happened?"

Mo Yuanjun didn't tell anything but Cheng Qiang and Hu Shuchun got their answer

A big, massive shadow falls on them from above and then

*boooom*

A giant beast landed on the ground in front of them

The beast had white fur, sparkling, and had 5 tails

"Nine tail fox" Hu Shuchun said as she looked at the giant fox/beast in front

"What?" Mo Yuanjun asked her about what she is talking

She explained "In our classes, we come to know about few black grade beasts and this fox is one of them. When they are fully mature, they have 9 tails and also 3 flames mark on their forehead"

At that time, Mo Yuanjun also noted 1 flame mark/tattoo on the for-head of the fox

"So is there any chance to survive?" Mo Yuanjun asked her

"Nope, Black grade beast is like legends that are rarely seen but no one can control them. Though it is said that our ancestors could control them we are not like our ancestors, so this the end. But we can control its beast core"

Mo Yuanjun was like, 'You mean, we have to kill this shit?'

Cheng Qiang was silent as he knew it, this is the end. No matter how much they will try to fight the beast, they will lose

*dum*

On the other hand, Mo Yuanjun's heart was beating at a rapid speed after seeing the giant size of that beast

He started wrecking his brain and tries to think every single way they could, maybe somehow able to survive

"Thinking about running away?"

But it seems like the surprises didn't end here

The beast talked

*stun*

And this thing made every single one of them petrified at their spot

"DIE, HUMANS"

The beast said in a big imposing tone and roared

Then he opened his mouth and gathered light in it

"That's an energy-based attack" Hu Shuchun said and then she took a step forward and hugged Mo Yuanjun from behind

"If only we could live longer" she said

Cheng Qiang also knew that in front of that big energy blast, they will die for sure and Hu Shuchun is getting all emotional, as he knew that she likes Qin Shi Huang

"It was short, still it was a great life with you 2" Cheng Qiang also said as he also accepted the harsh truth that this is their end

It was just like yesterday, that they all have met and today they are here, dying together

But to Mo Yuanjun, he didn't want to accept this truth.

For his whole life he had those dreams where he always saw that girl, every single night he even feared to sleep, thinking that he will meet that girl again

And when he came to this world she said that they will meet someday

Mo Yuanjun didn't want to let this chance go, he wants to live and know that answer

But he also knew that he will die here, still, he was hoping that somehow he will be able to live

He took all his qi fused papers/talisman and threw it in front and yelled

"No, I still didn't have any of my answers. Till the time I don't know who I am, I will never accept death"

Cheng Qiang could feel Mo Yuanjun's anger as to him, he had lost his memory and dying without even knowing who you are is really painful

But still, seeing the courage of Mo Yuanjun, he also holds his wooded stick firmly and gathered all of his qi, ready to fire it at one go

Hu Shuchun also didn't want to die; at least she wants to tell Qin Shi Huang that she loves him, so she also gathered all of her Qi and ready herself for the attack

If that's the question you are having in your mind then you are really stupid, as put yourself in their place and tell me do you think that even if you will run you will be safe?

The beast launched his energy attack towards the trio

"AAAAAAAAAH" The trio also launched their Qi in front of them to block the attack with everything

And when their Qi and the beast energy attack clashed together, a big explosion took place which destroyed the area around the trio sending each of them away from each other

But somehow, Mo Yuanjun remained at his spot

*huff*

Breathing heavily, he looked at the beast

The beast also looked at him and said "So you 3 were strong enough to face my small attack? Nice, but can you face the next one?"

With that said, the beast gathered energy around his mouth and in the next second launched the attack at him

"QIN SHI HUANG" Both, Cheng Qiang and Hu Shuchun yelled his name

Mo Yuanjun knew this is his end so he closes his eyes and gave a smile

*eyes open*

"A mere ant dares to attack my master?"
