Chapter 18: Am I a Saint?
Mo Yuanjun was out of the sect, as he no longer had any friends to move around.
Roaming here and there, he came across a group of kids, who were looking at the shop in front of them who was selling ice creams
Surprised right? Even I was surprised when I saw that this world does have ice-cream. Don't know who invented it but its really good, way better than on earth
There were 7 kids who were watching at those rich kids eating those ice creams while drooling
Most of them were from a poor backgrounds as they wore some torn clothes and dirt over their face.
Mo Yuanjun walked over them and asked "Want to eat ice-cream?"
The kids looked over him and nodded. Those kids used to call him "Big Brother Qin" as they had seen him various time around the village and had also played with them
Right now, Mo Yuanjun only had 20 coins left, as he used most of the money on teaching outer disciples and giving them some herbal baths also
If he had not wasted any money, then he would have surely more than 100K coins with him and various spirit stones, as he alone used to hunt the beast and collect herbs after his 2 friends became core disciples.
It's not like he regretted it, rather he was really happy when those young outer disciples said "THANK YOU" with a big smile.

(He never bought it himself; mostly it was Cheng Qiang who bought things)
The shopkeeper looked at Mo Yuanjun and the kids behind him and said "Well, its 4 coins per ice cream"
Now, here comes the problem, Mo Yuanjun has 20 coins and there are 7 kids who want to eat. And the price of ice-cream is 4 coins
7 x 4 = 28
It's over the budget
Mo Yuanjun looked at his money and then at the shopkeeper
He said "Sir, I want to buy 7 ice-creams, can't you make the price low? Look at these cute face's"
But when the shopkeeper looked towards the kids, he could only see dirt and torn clothes. Nothing else
He couldn't see that pure soul of those kids
"Sorry, I can't" The shopkeeper said
Mo Yuanjun tried to persuade him but no matter what, the shopkeeper didn't yield
Mo Yuanjun could buy 5 ice-creams and tell the kids to share it with each other but really? They are about only 8 coins low; can't the shopkeeper lower its price?
As he was talking with the shopkeeper, suddenly a very beautiful voice came from behind him
"I'll pay for him. Give him what he wants"
When Mo Yuanjun looked towards the person behind those words, he saw a familiar face, which he saw a few months before
"Yes, madam" The shopkeeper looked only one time towards the Quan Hanabi and knew it, she is a rich girl, so he didn't waste any time and gave 7 ice-cream to those kids
Quang Hanabi walked in front and gave out a bag that was filled over coins and said "if those kids ever want to eat something, just give them whatever they want. I have paid you enough right?"
The shopkeeper nodded and said "For sure, I would love to give those cute kids whatever they want to eat"
The kids became all happy and said "Thank You Big Brother Qin and then Thank You Big Sister" after that they left the place with a happy smile
Mo Yuanjun wanted to say no to her, but when he saw those little kids' eyes eagerly waiting to eat ice-cream; he could never say anything against it
So he just stood silent
"We met again. You remember me right?" Quan Hanabi asked him
"Yes, you are that stupid girl from the past" Mo Yuanjun replied
At this, Quang Hanabi did get angry but she didn't mind it.
Both of them started walking and roaming around the street, as Mo Yuanjun showed her the way around.
Though she didn't really need it as she is a celestial realm cultivator and can sense her surrounding with the help of Qi but still she didn't say anything against it and quietly followed him
While walking, she asked "Were those kids, your cousins?" as she still remembers that he has no family so maybe it was some cousin?
Mo Yuanjun smiled and said "Nope, they were not. They were kids from the village area and I just know them"
Quan Hanabi was now really impressed as through her guards she could tell that Mo Yuanjun is also a poor man and still spending money for others is not something small.
In a teasing tone, she asked "Are you a saint?"
"Why?" Mo Yuanjun asked as he couldn't understand what she meant
"I mean, you are spending money on others while you don't have much on yourself and then you even gave me some great teaching. So maybe you are some kind of saint?" She said
"hahahaha"
Mo Yuanjun laughed at this which made Quan Hanabi confused.
He said "If I was a saint then I would have no desire or greed. But I am not a saint as I still have some desire and I am also greedy"
Quan Hanabi dint ask anything here, as she knew she would really have a headache if she would start talking philosophical here
She gets straight to the point "We have met various times (only 2 times so far) and talked a lot, so can I know your name? My name is Quan Hanabi"
Mo Yuanjun looked at her and said "I would never say no to friendship. My name is Qin Shi Huang also I am an inner disciple at the immortal courage sect. So if you need any help then you can find me at the sect"
At this, she wanted to laugh as she has various guards at her side and the place where the sect is, is her city.
Though the sect is fully autonomous and the city lord doesn't have any control over it still there is nothing that could happen to her.
"off-course, if I am ever in any type of trouble. I would ask senior brother for the help" She said in a teasing tone

On the other side, those guards were shocked to see the expression of their Future City Lord
So far, they have only seen her serious face after the death of her parents. She had been aloof and never tried to make any friends.
But here, she is not just trying to get a friend but openly flirting with that man

They didn't know what was going on but it was something they have to tell the city lord.

The man waved his hands and from his gold ring, a long wooden stick appeared in his hands.
In both of the ends of the stick, gold was embedded in it with various other designs in the stick.

He waved his stick few times and with just a few movements of his hands (which were holding sticks) caused a massive wave of high pressured wind and all of them crashed at the beast horde which was coming after him

In the blink, everything was destroyed
Though there were few beasts left, after all not every beast is weak.
The beast jumped up with a roar and came straight at the man, but he stood calmly as he waved his hand only more time
This time, a sword appeared in his hands
"Lightning slash" The man said in a calm tone

He waved his sword against the beast up in the sky and then a lightning strike took place. Burning the whole body of the beast

The man looked towards the person who was clapping. It was an elder
The elder walked towards him and said "Your growth his really fast Cheng Qiang. Let's try to find a beast core of a beast around red grade, as Blue and black grade rarely appear"
Cheng Qiang bowed and said "I'll follow your words, elder Cao"
Elder Cao Lingxin is one of the sect elders and also the person who looks after/teaches core disciples
In this deserted place, called Ghouls Land, various beasts appear and many experience cultivators come here to gain more experience and increase their rank as the place is full of Qi.
So, Cheng Qiang, Tian Zemin, Mo Ru, Hu Shuchun, and Long Feng, all 5 best core disciples are here to training themselves for the upcoming sect ranking battle (between sects), which is held in every 3 years.
They will stay here and various other places which are full of Qi and beast, so they could rank up and also gain experience, for almost a year, till the sect ranking battle will take place
Also, Mo Ru wanted to participate in the ranking battle, among the disciples, not a sect, but she couldn't do so due to this, so she asked her brother Mo Chun, who is at the first stage of Spirit Realm, to participate on her behalf and see how strong Qin Shi Huang is
If you look a little far away, from where Cheng Qiang is, you will see a girl in braided twin tails.
She is waving her sword as if she is drawing; her movements are as if she is dancing as she is cutting each and every beast around herself
