Might Of The King

Rusted weapons and sand swirled about the Undead King. They burst outwards towards their targets, sand morphing into snake-like bodies with a sharp head. 

Travis spun his swords, Abyss and Holy energies swirling about whilst fighting each other. Moving through the barrage of attacks he formed a mass of Abyss and Holy to fight against the Rot. Opportunity took a more direct approach and clashed with the weapons. Her axes smashing through the rusted weapons and caused the sand to burst. Swinging her arm she manifested the golden avatar and battered away the weapons.

The Undead King frowned upon seeing his attacks be shattered, "This strength. . . Synced Nexus?"

Sand morphed into a circular mass. Raising it to act like a shield the Undead King blocked Opportunity's attack. Yet as he was distracted Travis closed the gap! Battering away the rusted weapons he approached the Undead King. Weapons glimmering he swung forth towards a mark revealed by [Truth Twofold: Revealing]!

Sand particles clung onto Abe and Lumen, pulling them in the opposite direction of their swing. A swirling mass of sand took on the shape of a fist and punched towards Travis. Yet a flash of silver dissected the sand fist!

The thinnest line of Aura surrounded Stars' edge. It was the only thing regarding Aura Akiol was capable of maintaining. Simply because the rate he regenerated Aura was just enough to supply the reinforcement. Since his Aura was capable of interrupting the Undead King's invisible hold, he decided to give up the idea of stockpiling any Aura!

Surging with strength Travis finished his swing and his two swords connected at the revealing point. A cross-shaped wound formed on the Undead King's ribcage, and he grunted with anger. Akiol pointed Stars forward and thrust it towards the fresh wound to further deepen it!

Opportunity shattered apart the sand shield and burst forth with a brilliant golden glow. Spinning like a top she built up momentum while crushing various rusted weapons. The king launched forth his scepter and clashed against the momentum, sparks violently decorating the sand. Rusted weapons launched forth and crashed against Travis and Akiol, but their methods to interrupt his control over them made the attack fruitless!

One with power to shatter his attacks, another capable of overwriting his control, and a third capable of directly cutting it! These three!!!

Opportunity slipped past the scepter and held her axes by her side, preparing to decimate the Undead King with all she had! Akiol deflected the last weapon chasing him. Immediately turning towards the Undead King he swung towards an already exposed wound. Travis applied the last bit of [Truth Twofold: Neutral] to another weapon and immediately shot forth a beam of Holy towards the Undead King!

[Pierce Even Heaven]!

Raising a hand the Undead King gripped the beam and stopped its approach. The scepter flung through the air and clashed with Opportunity's swing. With his final hand he caught Akiol's swing! Travis pumped more MP into the beam to try and pierce through the Undead King's hand. Opportunity attempted to shatter the scepter, and Akiol made the thin line of Aura around Stars spin even faster. 

The Undead King spoke, and his commanding tone sent a shiver to all of those who heard it, "Heed my command. Those incomplete, rise and fight. Your King commands it so."

A green mark flashed in the Undead King's eye and several bones shot through the dirt and sand. Hands gripped at the three and tried to pull them into the ground. Fragments and incomplete skeletons flew outwards and upwards. Dirt shattered and broke apart as more bones rose through the ground, various parts of several different species connected into a platform and raised the four into the air. 

A burst of green energy launched from the Undead King blasting everyone back. Flinging them off the platform and into the air. Akiol recovered with a platform made of mana and immediately caught the other two. Bones began to click into place and grew in size. Acting like the fibers in muscle the bones moved in unison, forming a massive giant. A head donned two curved horns and a sunken face. 

The Undead King stood upon its skull. Raising a hand he commanded the scepter to float in front of him. Swinging downwards he slammed the scepter into the bone colossal and its head split open. Descending into its head the bones sewed themselves back together. As the final bone set back into place a green glow flowed through the entire giant. A voice rang out, "Your end is neigh!"

The giant swung a fist with speed unfit for its size towards the three. Opportunity was the first to come into contact with it! Clashing against the fist she found her attacks barely stopping its movement. Being pushed along side it Akiol was next to join, and then Travis.

To Travis surprise his [Truth Twofold: Neutral] was not working on the bones. They acted outside of the Undead King's control, with minds of their own. Akiol formed a new platform of mana to act as the ground, but the power difference was crushing them. A pulse of green energy flowed from the head down the arm. Exploding once it reached the fist it pushed the three spiraling through the air.

Raising its hands above its head the bone colossus intertwined its fingers and swung downwards. 

Bwom~!

A series of kite shields made of a semi-translucent bronze stacked together and blocked the attack. The two fists shattered on impact and bones were sent flying outwards. Travis looked back and spotted their helper. Or rather it was multiple!

Tilia crossed her arms, "We're sure about this?"

Yielya leaned against her staff, "The Guilds are at a point where keeping them alive is inefficient. Let them brawl until they don't have respawns anymore. Once they're out we can retreat."

Massive magic circles spiraled across one of the arms of the colossus. Kan'na made a face, "Out of one mess to fall into another. Mira!"

"On it big sis!"

Mira bent downwards, the effect of his two limitation acupunctures still lingered within his body. Leaping forward caused the ground to smash inwards in response. He flew through the air and brandished his axe. Swinging it towards the chest of the colossus he crushed the bones and made it bend inwards.

Opportunity spotted this and a grin spread across her face, "We're not gonna be outshone like this are we?"

Bones crawled across the colossus and reformed its broken parts. Raising its newly formed hand it gripped Mira and tossed him away. As it raised a fist the bone colossus' attention turned to a new threat.

Golden energy burst out of Opportunity, it clambered together and slowly the full form of the golden avatar manifested. A cape manifested on its shoulders and it brandished two axes! Standing slightly taller than the bone colossus it looked down on its foe for a moment before swinging forward. The two giants clashed directly, bones fragmented and flew across the battlefield. 

Sprinting up one of the Colossus' arms was Travis and Akiol! Sprouting from the bones was creatures made of various creatures. The amalgamations scrambled to stop the two, clicking as their hastily formed bodies struggled to move properly. Slicing through these with ease the two's approach hadn't faltered! 

A pulse of the green energy crossed the entire body, but a massive magic circle formed and stopped its path! Crossing across this magic circle the two continued to rise up to the shoulder! Cutting through whatever bone creature they could they eventually reached the neck! 

Pouring out of the bones more creatures swarmed to stop their approach. Travis sliced through these and took the lead. Blades moving violently as it shattered one creature after the other. White circles on his body flickered and he frowned. Immediately he leapt upwards and pointed Abe skywards. A mass of Abyss energy swirled into a ball and he tossed it forward.

[Setting Dark Sun]!

The massive attack of Abyss energy shredded the bone creatures apart and Akiol pushed past these reinforcements. Approaching the neck of the bone Colossus he gripped Stars. Dashing forward he swung forward, space warping around Stars' blade!

[Spacial Collapsion]!

A large chunk of the bone Colossus' neck burst apart, revealing a hole in its empty skull. There the Undead King was floating, green energy connecting like electricity arcs to the bone Colossus' skull. His scepter floated in front of him, acting as a sort of catalyst for this connection. As Akiol tried to push through this opening the Undead King extended a hand towards him and pulse of green energy pushed him back.

Recovering from the blast Akiol spotted a small magic circle spinning through the air. It slammed onto his ear and a voice spoke through, "The skull's too thick for me to pierce through it from here. We need a way in!"

Travis landed next to Akiol, the white circles on his body shattering. Immediately Akiol noticed a magic circle on Travis' ear. Looking towards Akiol he said, "Leave that to me, create another opening. I won't be able to participate in this battle for much longer."

"Okay!"

"Don't bother with holding a hand to your ear by the way! I removed that feature since we're in a predicament!", Kan'na added.

"We need an opening then! Mira! Givale! To the neck!", Akiol called adding his voice through the link.

A roar rang out and Givale spun through the falling bones. Mira leapt off his poor mana platform and landed on her back. Flying upwards she formed several portals to shorten the distance. Appearing above she spotted Travis and Akiol fighting the swarm of bone creatures.

Kan'na teleported behind Travis and slapped his back. He spun and pointed a sword towards her but hesitated. She raised a hand, a spiral of runes forming a magic circle on her fingertip, "A bit of a lucky charm."

With a wink Kan'na teleported away and Travis eyed his back. A spinning series of magic circles clung to him. Frowning he turned to the neck, he just needed to see inside and he could use [Truth Twofold: Existence]!

Givale ordered, "Mira! Upwards!"

Leaping off Givale's back Mira held his axe in a readied stance. Givale spun in the air and flung him upwards with her tail. Shooting through a portal she manifested Mira teleported and soared directly towards the neck of the bone Colossus!

Blood-like energy crawled up his axe and made the axe head larger in size. Swinging it forward he slammed it directly onto the Colossus' neck!

BOOM-!

Bones shout out like a grenade, fragments threatening to impale anything in its way. Mira did his job perfectly however! Travis gained clear sight of the Undead King. Triggering [Truth Twofold: Existence] he closed the gap and appeared inside. Immediately the magic circles on his back expanded and covered the inside of the skull.

"Truth wielder! Only the power of Truths has such might!"

"I wield more than just Truth!", Travis retorted.

Holding out a palm and Lumen he shot forth two Skills!

Lifting the scepter the Undead King clashed with the beam and it fell apart from Rot. The magic circles clicked into place and his connecting green energy was cut from the rest of the bone colossus. The golden avatar's attacks now started to cleave through with little resistance. It fell apart from the attacks, falling apart and crashing into the ground. 

The Undead King roared, "Try as you might it's futile!"

Pushing past through the falling bones he hovered in the air. Green energy emanated off his body and became a painful bright. His scepter spun in front of him, "I told you! You shall not be the end of the undead! Only time has that honor!"

A dome expanded out of the Undead King. Changing the color scheme of all those who entered its radius. Growing larger it encompassed the entirety of the range within the Territory. Every player inside of the dome felt a instinctual fear. 

Akiol stared at the Undead King, something wasn't right. This feeling, it screamed at his instincts to flee! This wasn't a pressure, this was an actual threat!

Travis however was the only one to realize just what exactly was going on. Once he came to the full realization he roared while carrying his voice with mana, "Flee! It's Rot, but now it has the strength to affect living things! Get out! Go!!!"

The first effect of Rot afflicted the things the Undead King touched. [Truth Twofold: Rot] spread the rot to all things that were already afflicted with Rot. This kind of strength now went past that. It had the ability to Rot not just flesh and bone, but things like levels and very existences! This was only one thing, only one answer to this!

[Truth Threefold: Rot]!
