The Bet

"What says who"

Luck blurts out in a fit of confusion and anger.

"I don't even know who you people are"

The lady stands up, she has a surprisingly small build and blond hair that was tied in two pig tails on ether side of her head.

"Then how about we make a bet Luck?"

Luck stiffens up, he has plenty of experience with making and losing bets against powerful people. They always make sure that they have the advantage especially if the ball is in there court.

"What kind of bet"

The lady smiles a toothy smile.

"A simple one we will spar right here and now and if your able to land one clean hit you won't have to work for me and I grant you one wish, but if I win you will join us."

The deal was very tempting anything was a promise filled with possibility and these people seemed powerful enough really achieve great things. However Luck looked around at al the people that respected her and called her "boss", clearly she was strong and was confident enough to pose a fight that appears in my favor. Ha but it's only one hit she's underestimating me.

"Alright you got a deal lady just don't get upset when I yonk all your funds ok?"

She begins walking down past Luck and directs him to fallow her. She leads him around to a arena area of the base, people file in behind them crowding up bleachers and standing around the perimeter of the area. The arena it's self was a sand circular covered plot with a sand, specks of red doted around from previous fights had. Luck and the lady took opposing side and a announcer man began the show.

"Lady's and Gentlemen, boys and girls we have a show for you featuring our Solstice Inc.'s very own Boss up against a individual opposing membership"

The crowed erupts with excitement, cheers, boos and incoherent screaming fill Luck's head as he stagers to his directed area. Unfortunately Luck missteps and plants himself into sand, causing the crowed to boom with laughter. Luck makes a fist in the stand and gets back to his feet. The announcer then continues.

"Fighters get read .... and ... begin!"
