Testing & Reasons

As Thor was getting a hang of getting things done right in the nine Realms and deal with the everyday wars which tore through the landscapes of the world's on a constant basis.

Thor strived to get better and stronger than he was before as he was a bit more wiser than his previous immature self and some part of him believed that Loki was still alive yet he wasn't able to do anything as Bïfrost was destroyed and he couldn't visit Earth and the family he had come to cherish on the distant planet.

A portal opened up in a big hall but neither the two Guards nor Odin was surprised by this but we're a bit happy for the entity's arrival as he was a friend who could let their king's mood off from the sudden diseapearance of his child.

It was Thanos of course who had come to visit his only friend who had accepted him and had been most trustworthy towards as such their friendship was unique and even a few guards had come to know Thanos with the time he had come to spend with eachother but still were curious about his origins and only a certain knew about him being a Demi-God same as their king and were always curious about.

"Hope you're doing well Old pal " Thanos said to Odin who was looking at the vaste stars and with worrying posture and looked a bit sickly, sensing Thanos's arrival he faced him and asked.

"He should be fine right ?"

"Haa~ Yes to answer to your question. You know it as well as I do he'll be fine for now, also now you should also understand how I feel most of the times" Thanos said a bit jokingly and laughed it off

"Sigh~ Yes I guess ? It's always a pleasure yet painful to watch children grow up whether good or bad we don't have a say in Growth" Odin said a bit sad about the future and how it may unfold but still refuses to look at it as that may change things as they were meant to be.

"Yes. Yes they do. They grow up so quickly one cannot imagine, no matter how long one experiences it. It feels like a distant memory for every father no matter mortal or Immortal" Thanos replied saying.

"Don't dwell into it. There's only so much you can do and you've already done your best to grow them up, the rest is just to believe in them and let them follow their destiny, also I can sense you're close to comprehend the later parts of mysteries... .

Perhaps you've already unfolded them and are delaying it all ?" Thanos asked a bit sad yet still optimistic and felt glad for his friend.

"Haha it's good to think you think so highly of myself. I'll have to disappoint you I've yet to pass the certain threshold maybe in the distant future where I can guaranteedly do so by myself and perhaps similarly to how I did so from where you came from" Odin said

"It's funny now that I even consider the things I did before and even though I find a few among them reasonable there are many I considered befitting the Mad Titan's Title handed down to me by the entire universe

While I don't want similar things to happen to this world I'll at least change a few sad fated denizens about to suffer from their cruel destinies. I really oppose the way things had gone down in my world and I don't wish for it to repeat the same thing time and time again"

"Don't worry I can totally take it and as I've said it's up to you to decide how and when you want to change things. It's entirely up to you I guess after your family gaining what your heart desires is the most important thing to me and you too should focus on that " Odin said happily as he finally felt light-headed and let things up to date as he had gotten more verbal confirmation about his son's wellbeings and got a barrel of Ale and started drinking with Thanos handing the Guards along to drink and talk with them and while talking Thanos talked with Odin more and more and thaught about his advice about following his heart.

'Ive following my wish to rectify the universe while it's a wish it's not what my Heart desires it's always been Peace which is my most desired temptation yet so unobtainable.

I've done so wrong throughout my life while following my wishes and unrealistic beliefs which will never come to fruition. What do I have to live for ? What do I desire ? Everlasting life ? Family ? The well-being of my Daughters and Sons ? My own family ? What does my heart Truly Desires ? Thanos asked to himself while sipping on his cup of ale and got lost in his own world of thaughts and dozed off in room only to be shifted by Odin and The guards in the Guest's room as quickly and discreetly as possible.

' who's that father and the guard are carrying ?' Thor who was walking in the Garden saw his Father and his Guards carrying a big man undistinguishable due to the shadow of the night and it all providing a natural cover thaught but dismissed it as ( it wasn't an natural cover and Odin had already implemented precautions in case they were eyed upon by certain people and let Thanos's identity be revealed)

' I should visit father later he too seems quite sad recently due to Loki's diseapearance I'll visit him after I talk with mother a bit I also haven't told her about Jane and The Adventurers I had in Earth. That should cheer her up a bit as well ' and headed towards the deeper part of the garden where his mother always say besides whenever she was sad.

"Lay him there. Maybe he too will gain an insight on his own path " appoint a few Golems besides the room and no one is to enter. I reckon hell be gone by the morning as he usually does and be back later to share a few jugs " Said Odin and went to his room and couldn't spot his wife in his room and sighingly took out a bottle of Wine Thanos had left behind and sipped it down and had an good idea where his wife was but couldn't bear to confront her as he felt partially responsible yet somewhat relaxed due to talking it out with Thanos beforehand and as such he was a little light-hearted.

Meanwhile Thanos I'm his half asleep like state went about dreaming for the first time without being struck by nightmare which used to haunt him previously and he drifted within an empty space where his entire lifetime of actions were being projected in front of his eyes meanwhile his body in Odin's Guest room had been encased in a cacoon of sorts and within the cacoon His Gautlet and the stones within it shone more brighter than the second before and he diseappeared from the spot leaving a stunned Odin behind who could sense the energy left behind by Thanos and watched as things transpired and his sudden diseapearance.

' He's gained enlightenment ?' Odin thaught stunned by the spectacle before him

"HAHAHAHA ! Good for you old Friend ! Good for you ! " Odin clearly happy for his friend murmured and laughed while guzzling down bottles of Wines and laughed heartedly

Meanwhile Thanos who was transported besides a Vaste Empty Void which was the Remains of A Devoured Galaxy Full of Stars which was feasted upon by an Celestial trying to sustain himself on his last futile effort to live as such the place was full of 'Desire' and Thanos being the most biggest 'Victim' of Desire in his life fared off in the void as a Test by the stones wholely as not just anyone could become a God and one needs and if one was willing to walk on the path half-heartedly they are Doomed to Fail thoroughly.

While Thanos had no aspirations and Lacked in many aspects he had the most basic things which others lacked, such as a Touch will and the desired of Existence which nearly every living being has the only lacking aspect Being his Heart's Desire as this was the only blanket shrouding him from gaining insight on many issues.

The cacoon containing Thanos slowly got covered by Black sheet of energy which floated about menacingly and devoured his flesh and thaughts and everything it came in contact with even the Infinity Stones but couldn't do so even after many futile efforts and concentrated entirely on corrupting Thanos's Mind and making him a part of them and act as an Empty shell or to be more precise a "Host" or a "Puppet"

"What is this ? Where am I ?" Thanos asked confusedly and looked around in confusion and saw all his misdeeds and saw it all his past demanour crumbled and he was haunted by all the spirits of the people he had killed which filled his entire range of vision enough lives to fill up the Cosmos times and times again. Thanos nearly crumbled within their pressures and lost himself momentarily.

Laying down on his knees slightly lumpish he layed down all his might and demanour and saw a Little girl it was Gamora his precious daughter who he truly loved and wanted to do everything he can to help and protect her yet his values were twisted for anyone to bear and now it was all clear to Thanos who couldn't bear to look at her in the eyes.

"Did the meet justified the ends ?" Little Gamora asked with a saddened look on her face and soon accompanied by all his foster childrens and every other child he had taken care of as a father or as a disciple throughout the journey he had during creating and destroying the Omniverses and couldn't come up with words .

"No. No it didn't" Thanks said with reluctance and went closer towards the kids and got on their levels and while kneeling patted their hairs and cried and seemed to be losing himself as he was slowly devoured by the dark energy surrounding him and nearly losing his soul while his body was immune to most of the damage and the energy which throughout the best of its efforts merely scraped off a little skin off Thanos leaving only his vulnerable soul exposed for the dark energy to exploit.

" It's hard to exist but sometimes it's our outlook which needs to be changed, look within your heart and find your own Heart's Desires which are unique to you and only you. Remember there are many paths in life eventually everyone leads to many ways yet one thing is always similar, They all Move Forward with no end in sight" Thanos heard a voice among the many and recognised it instantly as it was his Friend Odin guiding him through this tough moment of his life.

Quickly wiping off his tears and thinking about his family and friends that awaited him he looked before him blankly and faced off every existing person from his previous life facing them right dead in the eyes and looked at them with kindness and said.

"That's the mistake I committed I've been trying to do things too forcefully while leaving the important law aside 'Nothing is Perfect and Never can Be it's an Imperfect World and it was designed as such I among this world am Imperfect being striving to put forth his own beliefs to fruition " and Gained the missing insight he was lacking the courage to admit and finally admitted and made dues with his inner quarrels and gained an clear conscience which lived up with the existing burden of his wrongdoings yet refused to give up simply and with the motivation to move forward with more Kind attitude and more accepting character for himself.

The Cacoon cracked laying off the energies which surrounded Thanos and Millions of Kilometres wide radius and the energies sensing Thanos's will being stronger than them put more pressure on it and called forth all the Dark Energies within the void Left behind by the Celestial but even so it could only stop Thanos momentarily as he got out of his cacoon and sensing this currupt energy planned to Destroyer it from existence.

Meanwhile Odin who sensed his Friend smiled as he was safe and presumably just moments aside from being a True Immortal God quite just like him and almost as strong as one as well.
