MEMORIES OVERRIDE (3)

"Okay, that's enough. I'll join you now. Let's play."

Yang Haoran unlocked the metal door, taking his time as he did so. A playful, mischievous smile was permanently plastered across his face.

When he joined her inside, he locked the fence-type door again and secured the key in his pants' pockets.

"Have you had a good look around?"

"I want to go home. I hate you."

"You're angry?"

"Yes, I am!"

"Good."

He pointed at the other end of the enclosed space. The place was bare except for the machinery at the other end a few meters where they stood.

"You know what that is?"

"No."

"Hmmm… That machine will make your anger go away and replace it with euphoria,"

His words gave her the chills on her spine. Up until this moment, he had been talking in riddles.

"Speak clearly so that I can understand!"
