Episode 28

Lucian woke up to Axel's whole body laying upon his torso. The pale boy's grinning face was so close to his own. "I was waiting for you to wake up." A whiff of mint hit the white haired male's nostrils. "You healed quickly." Axel kissed Lucian deeply out of the blue. Not caring about the morning breath. "I'm a demon silly. It's part of our starter pack of being a demon." Lucian let out a deep chuckle. His voice is wildly opposite from his counterpart.

Axel got off Lucian and allowed him to brush and get ready for whatever the day had ready for them. A mad scientist and an imp. What a fascinating couple. After a long, boring while for Axel, Lucian was ready. He started the fire and started to heat up some left over sausage stuffed cabbage rolls soaked in some pork belly soup.

"I don't know whether the belovian cult is screwing our plan or helping it." Lucian voiced, clearly concerned about the recent activities of the cult. Axel took the bowl that was given to him. Three rolls and a whole lot of soup. Just the way he liked it. "We share a common goal, Zyda, so for now we should treat them as pawns who are setting things into motion."

Lucian nodded his head. "Not to mention, we're still out to get revenge against the Romanovs, Barragan and DeMartino. The latter being the main object of your wrath." The demon took a massive bite of the roll and moaned quietly. The fork was still stuck in his mouth when saw an unfamiliar emotion flash through Lucian's eyes.

What was that?

" Lord Kornelio. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." Lady Sygard greeted. Her golden dreaded hair was wrapped in a bun. She wore a black pantsuit with no top underneath, some her breast and the valley completely visible. Her neck was decorated with gold necklaces, both long and short. Her lips glossed, and her nails bare but done. She wore a pair of closed toe heels.

Her golden bangles filled hand opened a file that was in front of her. Both Kornelio and herself were located in a massive study/library office. Ancient brown shelves at every corner, stacked with books of many different subjects. Her large golden table behind a massive glass window with the view of the town below.

He was sitting on a tall, soft, bouncy brown chair. She was too. "Now Lord Kornelio, I assume you know the current situation with the ogres, belovians." Kornelio nodded his head. He was currently wearing the black and crimson Maneerla general uniform. His hair is now cut and slicked back. Allowing a singular strand to fall. Both his ears were covered in gold piercings.

" Indeed I do. However, my concern isn't the ogres or the belovians. It's Lucian Von Stein and Axel Montgomery." Sygard sighed and nodded her head. "Lucian Von Stein isn't someone I thought would go down the route. An intellectual, respectable man stooping so far down to conspire and help a criminal. Something I thought I'd see."

"Me neither. "
