Something the others wouldn't know

"Something wrong with your playing?" Agawa echoed.

I had mustered the courage to ask the group from myself that day after practice.

Agawa just blinked at me after taking the time to stare.

"Is there something wrong with your head?"

Hagihara spoke up. "If I had to compare you to our past guitarist, he made tons of mistakes, however even if you do it's very few. If not none."

This wasn't what I was hoping to hear though... Although making less mistakes is nice that's not the key point.

"What's with you, all of a sudden?" Akemi raised a brow at me.

"...Forget it." I held the back of my neck and just smiled.

Agawa tilted his head as he studied me. "It doesn't matter what you think is wrong, keep playing like this until the tour is over. If you fuck up and change your sound out of the blue, I'll kick your ass got it?"

A sigh escaped me.

Is it really fine?

Tanjiro was in the room that day but he wasn't alone, all his bandmates were too...

They were all on his side so I didn't really care.

I greeted them with a head dip. Tanjiro-san did like wise.

We had eventually come to an agreement as we both didn't like others touching our stuff without permission.

"Ahhh! It's you again, so I see you were Tankkun's Mystery roommate?" Shirai exclaimed.

"You know him?"

"Mmmm. He's my source of intel."

"Really? Then...do you know about the end tour concert coming up? It seems like a final test of some sort. I overheard from another manager that none of us are doing what we're supposed to..."

I sat down at my desk and wheeled around to stare at them. My spirits were down but I tried to be social.

"Well... if you think about it, this camp was intended to have bands mingle and learn from each other. But if you look around everyone's been keeping to their own bands. So in the eyes of our agencies, it was a failure."

The group's eyes widened as understanding dawned on their faces.

Shirai clapped his hands together.

"I see!"

"Ah...!"

The other group members, Tanjiro, Akai and Hiro nodded in agreement.

"This can't do then, the tour group is almost over so we should do something," Shirai suggested.

What does he mean almost? There was still plenty of time before the final assignment.

In this band everyone listened to him, it was unexpected. This sleepy-looking fellow seemed a bit eccentric.

"Just leave it., Tanjiro-san sighed. "The end tour concert is nearly around the corner already. At this point, it'd be too much of a hassle."

"But it's been so booooring!" Shirai complained. He began to writhe on the floor in a mock tantrum. "When I came here I thought I'd be making new friends! But we're just practicing like we always do!"

"Ack!"

I didn't even want to agree with him but he's right.

I wheeled my chair to face the computer.

Let's not focus on too many depressing matters.

"So, why don't we do something? ... Fukuda-san!"

Suddenly a voice snuck up on me and I was seized by the shoulders by Shirai-san.

"Huh? What?!"

"Dooo something!"

"Huh? Wha- me?! Why?!"

"Well you're the only other person outside our band we've spoke to since we got here. If others see two bands coming together their more likely to join in."

It actually made perfect sense.

"Ah...okay...well then what did you all want to do?"

"A talent show?" Hiro volunteered an answer.

"For that bands would end up teaming together. We need an activity that requires groups breaking down and collaborating with each other... maybe like karoake? Or an impromptu performance?" I guessed.

Shirai's eyes glittered.

"That sounds fun! Let's do that!"

"It was just a suggestion."

"We're doing it!"

Nothing I said could disuade him it would seem.

I sighed. "Then where to hold this? A place where everyone passes through at some point would be best."

Tanjiro seemed to be giving it some serious thought all of a sudden. "The practice rooms are a definite no-go, we can't interrupt other's practice."

Their band discussed it the whole night and in the end, they ended up camped out in our dorm using Tanjiro's butt cushions as pillows.

I fell asleep early and had to leave in the morning for a scheduled concert so I don't know what they decided on in the end.
