Cloud yawned and rubbed at his eye. Three hours had passed and Calibri still wasn't back.

'Should I put that flame out?' He thought to himself, turning his head towards the pot. The cauldron had an odd stench from whatever it was that Calibri was brewing, but after a while Cloud had gotten used to it.

He sighed, sitting up. It was almost ten. Soon it would be midnight. Where had Calibri gone? He'd closed the bedroom door earlier, so that if he did fall asleep, he'd hear the sound when Calibri returned, and he would wake up.

But so far, he hadn't fallen asleep, and there'd certainly been a lack of handle grasping for the duration of his stay in the room.
