If there was a scale for magnanimity and naivety, Prince Calibri would be positioned first every time. In a flurry of events, the time comes for the next Grandmaster to be chosen, but before Calibri has the chance to seize the title, he is betrayed by his closest companion, accused of a crime he did not commit
and banished to the dark dormain of the Underworld...

 But alas, these conditions existed, and he had no choice but to overcome them if he wanted to ever see Calibri smile at him again, and not scream bloody murder every time he held him close.

"He required help. If I did not help, he would be in a difficult situation. " Alexei said.

"Weren't you planning on treating him the way he treats Prince Calibri?"

"Oh, I intend to if he illtreats his majesty. However, it did not sit right with me to let him suffer if I could help... Although if he physically hurt his majesty, I believe my willingness to aid him would have diminished. Moreover, now that I have helped him, he will have to face the fact that Verbatians are not monstrosities."

"I doubt, he's a dumbass, that one. But yeah, don't dirty your conscience. Don't become like Kol or his father... Anyway, I'll take this to him."
