4. Now the Real Grind Begins

After waking up at night and eating with Benjamin David told Benjamin that he could Fuse the Basic punch and Perfected Basic Punch if he leveled them up enough.

"Wait wait wait you are telling me you could Fuse skills why the hell did you not tell me that, you know how hard it is to fuse skills normally you need to find the source of both skills and then try to modify one of the source to replicate the same feeling the second skills source gives."(Benjamin)

"Hey man this one is not one me okay ask the author that question, he added it after the part where you learn about me was done."(David)

"Ohh I see I see, it doesn't matter now you know what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna teach you all the different basic punch varities that I know of, you will level them all up to level 100 maybe even 150 and then fuse them all together, this will probably give you a skill so powerful you can just use it as your main damage ability until the end of time."(Benjamin)

After a few minutes pf awkward silence Benjamin said

"I'm gonna assume you don't know a whole lot about the level system and the occupation system"(Benjamin)

"You don't really have to assume, I don't know a lot, all I know is you get one occupation or occupation upgrade every 50 levels"(Benjamin)

"Hey at least you know about the occupation upgrade choice most people don't even know that or at least people who are on the lower scales of the economic system, ok so since you know the occupation and the occupation upgrade tell me what you know about what to choose and what to do every 50 levels"(Benjamin)

"Okay so as I said you gain 1 choice every 50 levels and when you hit the level you need to choose or upgrade an occupation you can't gain anymore exp all of it is converted to skill exp, lets see what else is there uhhhg, ahhh also I learned that you should definitely choose as many different occupstions as possible since that is going to help you out the most on both stat and skill wise"(David)

"Who the fuck taught you that, okay from now on the last part is shit okay, if you are not planning to stop leveling at level 250-300 you should never go with as many different occupations as possible route, do you know how good the later upgrades of these occupations are, I only have one occupation and I could easily kill 10 people that has 32 different occupations who are at my level, as I said if you are just going to stop at levels 250-300 it is a viable option, however if not its just plain stupid because in the later upgrades of the occupation you can get up to 50 stat points per level, and one new occupation can give at most 4-5, *sighs* sorry, I just got too heated for a moment there"(Benjamin)

"No problem, no problem, its kind of scary but what did I expect anyways"(David)

"Okay lets see what else is there to talk about, after hitting level 1000 you become a transcendent and you don't age from that moment on, before that there is the 500 level mark which is if you pass level 500 you will become a hero, you know you don't really become a hero its just they made it so that more people want to become higher level so they can send more people at the frontlines but it doesn't really matter, and there is the 2000 level mark which makes you be addressed as a God and at this point you gain the power to bestow blessings on people at the lower levels your blessing is not that worthy of anything but as you level up your blessing also get better but you don't really need to know all this there is still a long way before any of these anyways"(Benjamin)

After this talk occured, day after day Benjamin taught David 13 different kinds of basic punch varieties ranging from punches that stun to punches that inflict internal bleeding to super fast punches to super heavy punches.

David was trying his best to level all of these to level 100 at first but even before getting one of these to lvl 100 his All Talented skill leveled up, and he realized that he could grind all these skills to as much as possible to level his all talented and decided that he would level them at least to level 200. While leveling the first few of them it took about a week or a week and a half for David to level them up to level 200. After his All Talented skill leveled up a few more times that time slowly got shorter and shorter and it became about 5 days for the last few of them and on the last one he managed to get it up to level 200 in 4 days.

if it was a normal person, without the all talented and the blessing of the Universe then it would take them at least 2 or more months for every single one of them even with low level All Talented it would take a long time.

The more David grinded the more David wanted to grind, he started grinding most of the day and skipped most of the workouts to end this but still he was able to get some workout in to. When he finally got all of them to level 200 he really didn't want to stop, he wanted to grind them even more in the hopes of getting a better skill but at the same time he also realized grinding for 50 more levels on all of them wouldn't really make any difference since Benjamin explained how the fusion system worked, even though the level of the skill mattered after level 168, the changes were so minuscule it wouldn't matter.

David was so hyped to finally fuse all the skills to get an overpowered skill that could fuck shit up from level 1, he opened up the fusion page and started adding all the skills he wanted to into the fusion, then pressed the huge Blue button that said fuse, as he pressed this his heart was beating so fast this was his 4 months worth of work that he was fusing, then a box saying "Are you sure you want to fuse these skills?" showed up David pressed yes in a heartbeat then whiteish blueish lines started to move towards the middle of the screen where there was an empty box all 13 of them connected to the same single box.

David realized this was the source of a skill, or more like 13 sources becoming 1, he wanted to understand how this worked so maybe he could explain it to Benjamin so he could fuse skills easier, thus he started to feel what was happening to the skill sources, it wasn't anything like Benjamin said, it was more like all of them were creating a new skill rather than changing one of the skills to feel like both of the skills, this would require way more energy but it would also make things way easier for normal people too since they could add any meaning they wanted to the skill they were creating. David tried to understand more about it, what every line or dot on the source meant but he failed miserably not only did he not learn anything he even started to bleed from his nose and ears because he pushed himself too hard.

As the fusion was about to end, David wasn't dying or anything but he definitely looked like he was hit by a shockwave of some sorts. He felt really sluggish but he also wanted to see what his new skill looked like. As he was thinking this he heard a ding in his head

"An original skill has been created by the user, there was a lower grade of this skill that was made with the same skills but lower levels, it was named the punch of the transcendent thus the system named this skill, the Punch of the Gods as the user is the original creator of this skill his exp requirements will be lowered."(System-chan)

"Show me the character sheet"(David)

As he looked at the skill, David started basically spewing every vile word in the dictionary. He couldn't believe how the skill would give 5% damage per level, this was the highest he has seen and not even that he could basically make people bleed, poisoned, burning, slowed, blinded, stunned, ..... in one punch. David didn't realize how much of a jump this skill was in the skill history as it would only be replicated about 27000 years later by a prodigy and before that no one else except for David and Benjamin would know this skill ever existed. They also didn't know David would go ahead and be known as the King of Skills.

As David shouted every single curse word he knew, Benjamin walked in.
