25. Raising Money With Noxaa

Since Noxaa had already told them about her talent, David and Julius decided to tell her theirs, David said that one if his talents was fusing skills and his main talent was leveling skills up fast as fuck. Julius also explained that his eyes were mysterious, he could see people with high potential for their future and he could sometimes see potential at other things such as a place in the map or some random item. Julius also explained that he had no idea what this part of his ability meant as he never found a way to use the said items or go to the area.

After their little chit chat, they resumed their journey back to the academy, while they were walking David got curious and asked.

"So how exactly do you send the money from here to Bukhia, I mean there are no borders and I don't think its possible to go there physically every time"(David)

"Ohh that, so my first time sending money back went like this, without thinking how I was going to send the money, and then I was thinking if I was going to have to go back at the mission hub when a random instructor came towards me, turns out this instructor ability was about reading minds and he had watched me think about how to send money for 10 minutes in the hub. He said, Noxaa right, you know you can send money from your bracelet right, the academy has a limitless teleportation area for items, there is a fee but its 1 gold for every 10000km so not that much, I was so happy and shocked I wanted to say you are the best and thank you so much at the same time, finally blurting out you are so much. I went red in shame but he knew what I tried to say so he just laughed and said you're welcome and he just went back to wherever he was a second ago."(Noxaa)

"These bracelets really have too many uses, but its a good thing that we can do a lot of things from the bracelets, so has either one of you tried the arena function in the bracelet, I wanna try but because of my level no one challenges me and my challenges are promptly ignored, I heard that you can make quite a bit of money through that too, you know every month even the 1000th place gets 10000 gold"(David)

"By the way, you might not know this but that 1000 is not in the whole world, instead it is in your current level league, if you are level 100 there is a league for level 100-200, if you are in 500 there is a league for 500-600, and also you don't have to use any of your actual information, you can just make your name RandomGuy488 and enter a match, the only necessary info you have to show is level sadly"(Julius)

"Holy shit, all this time I thought that it was in the whole world and that was why I never went into it trying to earn money, I know you can bet on games but I don't know if I will win a fight before it starts so I have been scared of gambling and I didn't think I could win the placement prize so I just scooted it to the right and moved on"(Noxaa)

"I know I won't be using it for the next few months as people don't want anyone under their level league to fight against them so I guess I'll be doing a lot of missions to level up quickly"(David)

"Why though, don't you know the academy has like 5 different dungeons, two of them are for transcendents and one is for heroes but the other two is for people under level 500, you can just teleport to one of their dungeons, I leveled up that way when I came here first, it even grants you some stat points, you can earn some money too although not much"(Noxaa)

"Holy shit that seems to be my best option, by the way Noxaa are you really sure you don't need any extra money, we don't really need this, at least I don't I only need to pay for my food in the cafeteria to live, I can give the rest"(David)

"I don't really need it either the sake situation as David, just give me a word and all my savings can be transferred, its not much but still any help is help."(Julius)

"You know what fuck it, I'm sick and tired of you two asking me this shit every 30 minutes, so lets work around it, how about you guys don't give me any money you already have but help mea earn it instead. The dungeon is subpar at best while grinding for money as there is a 1 in 25 chance for most monsters to drop low grade crystals which are worth like 5 gold, but if we can kill a few thousand of them, that makes about a few thousand gold and David should also level up in there, two birds, one stone."(Noxaa)

As they went on with the rest of the road, the academy finally became visible in the horizon. They went ahead and rested for the day after adding each other in the bracelets friends tab that they learned was there from Noxaa. In the morning they ate together and after packing some food to eat, they went to the dungeon entry building of the academy, they applied for a three people entry to the level 100-200 monsters dungeon and after 10 minutes or so of waiting, they were approved.

As they entered David realizes the monsters were more powerful than their outside counterparts. Most of the monsters inside were huge chicken-like dragon-like monsters and if the three of them attacked at the same time the monsters would just drop dead. They had to pay for their entry as it costs 50 gold per person to enter and they only had 8 hours here and most of the time these monsters would walk in groups so it was basically impossible to just jump one shot and move on to the next monster. At the end of the day they had killed about 4800 monsters and earned about 950 gold.

David and Julius only took 100 gold each and the rest was left to Noxaa, Noxaa felt pretty bad about this but she also realized that her friends just wanted to help her out.

Their days went like this, they would go to the dungeon, kill a lot of monsters and then split the money as previously mentioned. The dungeons had an endless supply of monsters as it was powered by the universe and the college actually didn't even spend a single gold coin on the dungeons energy reserves but still took 50 gold entry fee. This was one of the biggest earnings of the college. The college allowed people outside from the college to enter these dungeons but the dfee was way more exorbitant.

They made about 30000 gold in the next month which was enough to get Noxaa's families farm to replant and David had slowly leveled all the way up to level 100 and was starting to grind his skill levels instead of getting his first upgrade he decided to grind his skills a lot more just so that he doesn't look ridiculously overpowered compared to his peers.

David would keep going to the dungeon even after they stopped making money for Noxaa, Noxaa and Julius would also drop by sometimes but they were taking things a bit slower and resting a bit after all that grind. David Leveled up all his skills and even fused the four skills he had gotten from the academy after leveling all the skills up all the way up to 250. The skills name was Emperor's Domain but as he learned the skill he also learned of its inferior counterpart King's Domain.

As David learned that he could also create the skill book of King's Domain, he decided to create the King's domains skill book as to not make people shocked and keep the best for himself. After another month of leveling his skills and dungeoning he decided to turn in the skill book three months earlier than planned.

As he turned in the skill book, the talented student managers of the College of All were going mad because the kid that was supposed to be talented in fusing skills turned out too good at it. Not only did the kid turn in the skill books only after 3 months but he had returned a skill with a name that had king in it, it was way more than what they had anticipated. They decided to try and rope in this kid even more, thus they gave David a monthly salary of 5000 gold and only asked for him to fuse one skill every year but he would have to fuse these skills for the following 10 years which meant 10 skills for a total of 600000 gold. In Davids opinion this was a rip-off on his side as he didn't really need a whole lot to fuse skills so he accepted. David also understood why the academy accepted to pay so much, this purchase of theirs would be able to teach thousands of their people different powerful skills.

David kept on dungeoning and killing monsters for a grand total of 6 months and only got bored and decided to stop when it was august. Throughout this whole time David visited Benjamin daily, had time to spend with Noxaa and Julius and they even started making their class schedule for the next semester.
