Alice’s Mischievous Proposal 

After letting Alex have his fill of KenLucky Fried Chicken, the chubby girl and the little boy left the restaurant walking hand in hand. Abbie still couldn't believe that her little hero could eat more than she could in one sitting.

Alex easily ate three buckets of KenLucky Fried Chicken including the side dishes. When Abbie asked him if the food was really that good, the boy only said that "Mama Amelia's" (Abbie's mother) fried chicken was better.

Abbie wasn't able to stop herself from grinning. What Alex said was the truth. Her mother's fried chicken recipe was better compared to the ones used in fast food chains.

"It's quite unfortunate that we won't be able to visit them this weekend," Abbie lamented.

"We won't?" Alex asked.

"Didn't I tell you? On Thursday, all the freshmen are going on a school trip to the beach," Abbie explained. "The university has booked a resort and we will be staying there for three days."

This was the first time that Alex heard about this school trip. When Abbie noticed his inquiring gaze she immediately understood that she had forgotten to tell him about the trip. The only thought in her mind in the past few days was the "Tutorial" that they had challenged in Edea.

"Can I go with you, Master?"

"...No," Abbie sighed.

The school trip was sponsored by the school and they were not allowed to bring outsiders. Actually, she was planning to leave Alex in her Mother's care for a few days while she was away. Even though their house was small, Abbie's room was vacant and Alex could use it during his stay.

Since her mother was always in the house, Abbie was sure that Alex would be well taken care of. Although she had all of this planned out ahead of time, she forgot something very important.

"Master, I can't stay too far from you," Alex said anxiously. "If we are too far apart, I will automatically return inside your I-Foam."

"T-This!" Abbie completely forgot that there was a restriction when it came to her bond with Alex. If the two of them were separated by more than three kilometers, her Little Hero would be automatically stored inside her I-Foam.

'I forgot!' Abbie thought in panic. She looked at the boy that was holding her hand and felt his grip tighten. "W-Wait, let's contact Alice. Maybe she can arrange something."

Alice had just finished dinner and was currently lazing around inside her suite when she heard a familiar ringtone coming from her I-Foam.

"Hello?"

"Alice, I need your help."

Abbie explained her current situation. The blonde girl listened patiently while making plans in her head.

"Tell me the name of the resort that your university has booked," Alice said as she prepared a pen and paper to write it down.

"I think the resort is called Sea Horizon Resort," Abbie answered. "A ferry boat will pick us on Pier Eight around six in the morning. It will take us approximately eight hours to reach our destination."

"All of this will happen on Thursday right?" Alice asked for confirmation. "You will be staying at the resort for two days and will leave on Sunday morning?"

"Yes," Abbie replied.

"Today is Tuesday, so I have one day to prepare," Alice snorted on the other side of the line. "You sure are a slave driver, Abbie."

"Sorry!"

"I'll call you back later. Let me see what I can do on my side."

Alice opened her laptop and visited the homepage of the resort. Fortunately, the resort was big enough to accommodate many people. With a few clicks of her mouse, Alice was able to reserve two VIP rooms. She thought that it would be nice to take a short vacation with Alex so she shamelessly decided to go to the resort with him.

Aiden was looking at her from the side with a disapproving look on his face. It was very easy for him to read what his master was thinking, but there was nothing he could do about it. The only thing he could do was to make sure that no other guys would make their move on his master.

The handsome elf was very worried because Alice was very beautiful. The mere thought of guys ogling her while wearing her swimsuit was enough to make his teeth itch in frustration.

Abbie and Alex were already inside the girl's dormitory when her I-Foam received Alice's call. The chubby girl breathed a sigh of relief when Alice told her that all the arrangements had been made.

On the day that they were going to ride the ferry, Alex would temporarily stay inside Alice's I-Foam with Aiden. This was a feature only possible because Alice was Abbie's supporter. However, there was still a restriction. Alex could only stay with Alice for twenty four hours.

After twenty four hours he would automatically be ejected from her I-Foam, and return to the real world. Of course, Alex could leave anytime he wanted. However, he would only leave once Abbie had arrived at the resort. Alice would arrive ahead of time to meet with her.

"Thank you, Alice." Abbie felt very grateful for Alice's help.

"Don't mention it," Alice replied teasingly. "Spending some time with Alex on the beach sounds fun. I'll pick him up on Thursday."

"Alright, I will be waiting."

"I'll ask you to return this favor to me in the future."

"Understood."

"Good." Alice giggled from the other side of the line. "Let me talk to Alex for a bit. I miss him."

Since Alice helped her with her current problem, Abbie easily accepted her request. She gave the phone to Alex and decided to take a bath while her roommate was still not around. Abbie was exhausted because of the rumors flying around about her and she wanted to sleep early.

Alex and Alice talked for a few minutes. Alice inquired about what he did while Abbie was at school. The boy told her everything. Alex even told her about Abbie's rejection which made Alice laugh out loud.

"Do you know that on the day she got rejected was the day I met her?" Alice asked the boy.

"Un, Master told me about it."

An idea suddenly popped into Alice's mind. The blondie's lips curled up into a mischievous smile as a plan to help Abbie formed inside her head.

"Alex, how do you feel about the rumors circulating about your Master?"

"I think Master is really bothered by it. She looked depressed after returning to the girl's dormitory."

"Alex, do you want to help your Master?"

"Un!"

"Good boy. Now listen. This is what we are going to do…"

The two talked in hushed tones as Abbie enjoyed her bath. Little did she know that something unexpected would happen during their trip. She never expected that the schemes Alice planned behind her back would blow out of proportion and make all the freshmen look at her in a different light.
